New York hotels near New York Public Library Performing Arts

Pros: Modern design, the lounge area is designed to incorporate as co-working space where people can do work or have meeting, rooftop bar with great view to the city and empire state building, free bike rental, friendly staff

Pros: Great studio space for working with yummy food and bar services available throughout the common areas. Surrounded by the city and all the great Korean food. Wifi is included and suer nice staff. Great value in this city.

Pros: As an interior designer, I have an appreciation to the level of design and details. The room was small, but because of thoughtful use of space, it functioned really well for our needs, plus with an expansive corner of floor to ceiling glass, it still felt open and airy. Great views. We loved hanging out in the public spaces, listening to live jazz. Only disappointment was that the roof deck was not open during our stay. Would have liked to have experienced that. The breakfast toast available in the lobby was amazing.

Pros: Excellent hotel with outstanding staff and at one of best NYC locations for leisure. Very close to principal Broadway theatres. Lot of good restaurants near by and also very to metro station. It was my second time there and I would definitely back to this hotel.

Pros: I expected more. The carpets looked dirty. The curtains didn't close properly. My bed by no means was a king size. I guess you get what you pay for.

Pros: The Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is in a great location. We were able to walk to shopping areas and the theatre. The room was very clean with modern decor and comfortable.

Pros: Its location was ideal; close to Time Square but not so close as to be too noisy. It was a good base to get about New York from. We stayed in a King Evolution room on the 8th floor, it was a really good size and well equipped. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble for them. My daughter and I wanted to see a particular painting in an art gallery but werent sure if they had the painting. The hotel concierge, without a quibble offered to ring the gallery for us. The painting wasnt there. She saved us two journeys and 20 dollars each. She was extremely helpful.The free tea and coffee in the hotels lounge in the morning was a bonus.

Pros: The location can't be beat, a half block off Times Square. We were in town for a concert at Madison Square Garden which was an easy walk from the Hotel. The rooms were modern and unique. I could have easily spent twice as much to stay at one of the brand name hotels nearby but I'm so glad I didn't.

Pros: Great Location, reasonably quiet, mid level hotel which we would recomend to any visitor to New York. Almost right on Times Square but removed enough to be quieter, close to theatres and transport. Resturant meals good and fairly priced.

So on that front, I really want to be as positive as possible. I get this is a really difficult time. There is literally nothing else positive to say about this hotel

Pros: I loved staying at the Hudson, it was my home away from home. The location is excellent, the design is fun and funky, the decor is well thought out, staff are friendly and helpful, the room clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower water was hot.

Pros: actually, we were quite disappointed with our stay that we reduced from originally 4 nights to only one. we announced our stay as a honey moon and we received no special treatment at all, e.g. a room on the 5th giving straight to the noisy party on the ground floor...

Pros: They did switch my room when the first was disgusting. The manager at the desk was very nice. Just pay the extra money and take a renovated room. The renovated room was a typical nyc hotel where I felt safe and comfortable.

Pros: I got stuck in NY when my flight was cancelled, and Hotel Pennsylvania had a room. The location is excellent - right across from Penn Station, so it was easy to catch my train the next morning.
