New York hotels near Whitney Museum of American Art

Pros: Modern design, the lounge area is designed to incorporate as co-working space where people can do work or have meeting, rooftop bar with great view to the city and empire state building, free bike rental, friendly staff

Pros: Great studio space for working with yummy food and bar services available throughout the common areas. Surrounded by the city and all the great Korean food. Wifi is included and suer nice staff. Great value in this city.

Pros: As an interior designer, I have an appreciation to the level of design and details. The room was small, but because of thoughtful use of space, it functioned really well for our needs, plus with an expansive corner of floor to ceiling glass, it still felt open and airy. Great views. We loved hanging out in the public spaces, listening to live jazz. Only disappointment was that the roof deck was not open during our stay. Would have liked to have experienced that. The breakfast toast available in the lobby was amazing.

Pros: Very clean, modern with good bed and linens. I appreciated having the charger and internet access. Well located for lower Manhattan and near public transportation. Friendly staff who truly try to be helpful. Unusually small, but perfectly adequate room. Good restaurant.

Pros: We found the staff was helpful. We liked the location. The hotel is well appointed. When we pointed out a minor problem with the elevators, we were given a 4PM checkout at no additional cost. We will dedefinitely stay there next time we come to NYC!

Pros: Breakfast was mediocre. Dinner was ok but the wait staff needs to pay more attention to details. And the customer. When they delivered dinner they dropped the plates and disappeared. We didn't even have a chance to ask for silverware, which one of us was missing. We shared until we could get someones attention. Not an easy task here as they seem to go with the NYC theory, Don't make eye contact. When we were finished I asked the wait staff for our check (I hadn't seen our waitress in a while). We waited, and waited, and waited. I finally saw our waitress by the bar so I went over and asked for the check. All in all, a mediocre experience. The only plus is the location. I won't return. Not really worth the $$$.

Pros: The views are stunning. The location is convenient and is near amazing restaurants and shops. Very local NYC feel.

Pros: I didn't do a ton of research on Hotel Indigo before booking my stay and arriving at the hotel. We were in NY for a wedding and we received a discounted room rate as negotiated by the groom. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is hip and clean and in a great location. The proximity to Katz's is worth it. There is also really great coffee in this neighborhood. Try Ludlow right across the street from the hotel or Cafe Vita only a few blocks south. I would say the due to the room rate discount we were pretty lucky with the price we paid as the hotel was booking around $500 per night (their regular fee). I would say that $500 is over priced for that hotel but $350 or lower is a great deal.

Pros: The concierge was great and the views from the room were amazing. Extremely convenient location.

Pros: The Hiltin's location, across the street from the Occulus, means you have several subway lines at your disposal. Rooms were a decent size for Manhattan.

Pros: Well, the fact that the company contracted by this third party site went bankrupt, canceled our reservations & didn't return our money was a buzz kill.

Pros: The location is great, right in front of the WTC Memorial, the hotel is super clean and the employees at the hotel are very friendly. The gym was nice although a little small and there is an indoor pool that I would've loved to use but I forgot my swim suit. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to staying in more Hilton hotels

Pros: The front office staff were very helpful in organising a room change to a suite as the two double bedroom we booked was not acceptable as the beds were not double beds more like 3/4 beds. The swimming pool was great as we had a 3 year old & the lifeguard found us armbands without asking for them

Pros: The location can't be beat, a half block off Times Square. We were in town for a concert at Madison Square Garden which was an easy walk from the Hotel. The rooms were modern and unique. I could have easily spent twice as much to stay at one of the brand name hotels nearby but I'm so glad I didn't.

Pros: They did switch my room when the first was disgusting. The manager at the desk was very nice. Just pay the extra money and take a renovated room. The renovated room was a typical nyc hotel where I felt safe and comfortable.

Pros: I got stuck in NY when my flight was cancelled, and Hotel Pennsylvania had a room. The location is excellent - right across from Penn Station, so it was easy to catch my train the next morning.
