Pros:The car itself.Cons:The fees and taxes portion of the original contract I paid for when I picked up the vehicle. Upon return of the vehicle I had to pay the same fees and taxes again. Also, how dare that you charge 15.00 for each toll on top of the state toll charges and the 15. each toll was alot more than each toll. I will never use thrifty again and will post negative reviews each and every place i can on a daily basis.Reviewed 31 Aug 2020

Cons:I had reservation at PVD -- found out it upon arrival at PVD Thrifty counter, it was Thrifty at Warwick, not quite the same. Thrifty at PVD counter said my supposed fee was for Warwick, but Warwick did not have my size car anyway, and I would be coming back to PVD anyway. So I was forced to rent at PVD, which had extra taxes of another $65. Found out this was common problem at PVD. DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!!! I BLAME KAYAK OR PRICELINE FOR THE DECEPTION!!!!! IN THE FUTURE, I WILL TRY TO AVOID KAYAK OR PRICELINE. I rent cars and hotels a lot, and will AVOID the KAYAK AND PRICELINE IN THE FUTURE!!!!Reviewed 29 May 2017

Pros:Nothing!!Cons:The way thrifty set the rental, I paid the rental for a Nissan maxima or similar over the phone and computer I went to get the car to one location and a old men told me the car it's not there is on other location I went to the other location and they told me I have to go back to the first location to set all the paperwork first and after that I can get the car, not before they have to do a credit background checking. The insurance for the car cost almost double then the rental my wife and 2 kids sitting all this time in my car until she got very frustrated that we cancel our first family trip for this awful service.Reviewed 14 Dec 2015

Difficult to pickup/drop offPros:Liked the car, prepaid gas plan and the rental agents tried to help because Kayak sent me to the wrong Thrifty.Cons:Walking half mile from the baggage claim to the rental counter , waiting in line for 30 minutes because only 2 agents on duty. Then having to go 2 stories up to the garage on an escalator with 4 suitcases because the elevator is broken and having 1 car to pick from. Cons:I was not given the car at the quoted price. Thrifty did not honor my reservation. I gave the airport PVD letters to get the reservation, but was given an off airport site down the street from the airport. I was quoted a price of $207.37, but had to pay $235.56. I would have paid more but I got the car back an hour before the reserved time. This is my first time using KAYAK and I am very very disappointed.Reviewed 4 Jan 2017
