Pros: The hotel is located just steps from the Capitol and Library of Congress, and the Capitol South Metro stop. It was a great location, with a good selection of restaurants and cafes within a couple blocks. The hotel provides a great breakfast spread in a building adjacent to the main building, so be aware that you may have to walk a bit to get to breakfast in the morning if you are staying in the main building. Food included: oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, bread/bagels/muffins, fruit (apples/bananas), coffee, tea, and a selection of juices. While I never took part, the hotel also offers a wine hour from 5-6pm in the main building. They also provide free 24-hour tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a selection of sundries in the main building.

Pros: I first chose the Capitol Hill Hotel for its location. I was one block from not only the metro station, but also the Capitol Legislative Office Buildings. This hotel more than met my expectations. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. My room did not feel like a standard hotel room. It was set up as a small studio apartment which made me feel much more at home. Everything was modern and beautiful. I will definitly be staying here for all of my business trips to Capitol Hill.
