Washington, D.C. hotels near St. Mary's Episcopal Church

Cons: Colonial parking provides valet parking at the Willard for $55 per night. They refused to tell me about any other options when there was another parking garage just behind the hotel. I won't return to the Willard until they lower their parking rates.

Cons: If you forget to tip housekeeping each morning, don't expect clean towels.

Cons: Tiny gym, mold in the bathroom grout, room amenities were average, surprising amount of wear and tear in our room for a hotel in this category.

Cons: Send ketchup with breakfast orders containing eggs and home fries!

Cons: The shower curtain gets a little friendly if you like your showers hot. Leaving the curtain open a few inches helped at the cost of having a damp floor mat.

Cons: Housekeeper took away my belongings before my check-out and front desk staff didn't find them for me after I complained.

Cons: Beds not very comfy, funny small in hallways

Cons: For a couple is necessary more space, at least for dispose luggage.

Cons: Loud air conditioning unit and street noise.

Cons: Everything met my expectations.

Cons: Room was a little warm despite the air conditioner on high.

Cons: No negatives really. We did have a problem control the air temperature/freshness at night, but that might have been because it was a warm weekend in spring -- maybe the air conditioners weren't on yet?

Cons: The bed. Way too uncomfortable. I'm in the mattress business (Sleepy's), if you need new mattresses, let me know!

Cons: The view from our room was not great, but we didn't care.

Cons: breakfast service downstairs extremely slow I ordered smoked salmon bagel and cream cheese with C it took over 30 minutes to get it to me the serverwas very flustered I asked for a to go box she just gave me just the box with no wax paper to take away my food.

Cons: I wish ice machines were on each floor however when I ask for ice at the front desk, I was supply with a bag.

Cons: The room was filthy. It was NYE so we didn't make a big fuss about it but we were not happy right away. Random sprays of stuff on the walls, a nice little white stain on the bed skirt. The first thing we did was check for bed bugs and luckily there were none. We went out for a nice dinner and when we got back there were security guards in the lobby who stopped us and asked if we were guests but we just nodded and he let us right by. We spent the rest of the night listening to one of our neighbors break glass and toss furniture around- I get it it's NYE but we didn't think this hotel was that kind of place or we never would have paid this much to stay here. The only thing the front desk did was offer us comped breakfast and to have security "look around". The final blow came upon checkout when we found out the valet fee was $50! $50?! Why not offer to comp that instead of breakfast no way we were gonna eat something made in this filthy place.

Cons: At times wait staff was sparse

Cons: Expensive valet parking.

Cons: If it had a pool it would have been perfect, but otherwise it was fantastic. Service at the in-hotel restaurant was slow and food was a little overpriced compared to the excellent food you could get around town.

Cons: No coffee in the rooms!

Cons: Morning coffee ( that was free!) was horrible

Cons: One comment, the cleaning staff woke us up at 8AM to ask us what time we wanted the room cleaned. I thought that was a little weird... would generally prefer they just come when we're not there.

Cons: A party on our floor was raging til 4am when it was finally ended due to police intervention despite many phone call to front desk beginning at 10pm. Got $50 off stay but should have been completely comped.

Cons: Original room would have been very small.
