How to Get to Tokyo
Plane
Tokyo is served by 2 airports: Tokyo Haneda (HND) and Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT). The closest to the city centre of Tokyo is Tokyo Haneda, which is located 9 miles from the city centre. Further away is Tokyo Narita Airport, 35 miles from the centre of Tokyo. The shortest flight to Tokyo from Singapore departs from Singapore and takes around 7h.
Train
Located 4 miles from the city centre, Tokyo Shinagawa is the busiest station in Tokyo. Another popular train station is Tokyo Ueno, located 2 miles from the centre.
Car
Another option to get to Tokyo is to pick up a car hire from Nagoya, which is about 165 miles from Tokyo. You’ll find branches of Relax Rent A Car and Times, among others, in Nagoya.
Bus
The most popular bus station is Tokyo, located 0.1 miles from the city centre of Tokyo. Tokyo Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal is also a commonly used station, and is 4 miles from the city centre.
