Cheap flight, on time, great staff. Great budget airline.
New planes, competent pilots, friendly staff.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."

Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad."

Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.

First my initial flight kept being delayed and delayed until it was actually canceled. Then my second leg of my vacation trip, again, delayed and they just had us standing in line waiting to board our flight. Again I give praise to the wonderful crew members for the stellar and comforting service. They truly are the reason I have not given up on AirAsia just yet. Now I do have one leg left, my tip home...I’m hoping that this one will be the overall best experience for my AirAsia. Cons: "Flight 502 from BKK to HKG was changed from Boarding Gate 1 to 3 in Don Muang at a time when the previous flight at Boarding Gate 3 has NOT YET started boarding. A huge crowd from BG1 flooded to BG3 when the flight to Wuhan, China has not yet started boarding. It was 15 minutes before scheduled boarding (15:55) and a long line already formed at BG1. Those in line have to move to BG3 and have to line up all over again. We waited for at least 30 mins before the Wuhan flight finished boarding at BG3. The line was ill-formed and many Chinese tourists pushed their way through disregarding the line. Air Asia should have deferred the announcement of boarding gate change for the HKG flight until the Wuhan flight has completed boarding. This was a poor handling of boarding."

Which leave leaves you with their HOT SEAT option. Even on international flight everything is al la carte, no free soft drinks. The price of checked lugguage can increase if not purchased at the time of booking. If you can jump though their hoops maybe no issue for you."

The crew will come by and ensure your device is in airplane mode. I even had one member on an extremely empty flight wake me up mid-flight, and ask me to show that I had my seatbelt on (I had a blanket on). About two minutes later, the seatbelt sign was off again. I realize there's no reason to be frustrated with a crew as they're just doing their job, but the airline as a whole is a little archaic and very strict."

Cons: "There were many additional charges for luggages. The most annoying thing for me is their seat assignments. For couples who bought tickets together, seats were assigned at different locations even though the flights were not full. This happened on all four flight segments for us. And it was not just to us. It happened to many other people on our flights. When I asked at the check-in counter at Singapore airport to change the seat assignments, the agent lied to me that there are no other seats available. In reality, there were many empty seats on all our flight segments."

Kayak never allowed the option to pay for baggage when I booked the flight, and AirAsia didn't believe me and wouldn't even respect their online fee chart. I will never fly AirAsia again, and I will also dispute the charge with my credit card company, as it is unprofessional if not illegal."

They charged me for each connecting leg. Smallest seats I have ever sat in in a plane. Terrible experience will never fly again."

Cons: "This is a budget airline. Very little leg room and even water is sold on the flight. The price for checked in luggage was ~70 US $ a piece, which reduced the benefit of inexpensive airfare."
