Sleep pods in SilverKris lounge are disappointing, showers are great though. Food decent, not amazing. Need more toilets in lounge ideally. Flight was good but service can be better.
No seperate security check for business class passengers and average lounge, open air, so not properly air conditioned

You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.

They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"

Cons: "Seems like Malindo is starting to degrading the service quality. The flight I took before: they change the airplane to batik which was worse with no entertainment, smaller seat pitch, etc. I book Malindo for a reason and paid for what expected using Malindo!! If they had to change the plane they should've given better one or given back compensation to passengers! Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad."
Pros: "For the price that we paid, it included 30kg baggage and refreshment (orange juice, water, coffee, a slice of pizza and a muffin) - it was worth it. The legroom is spacious, the seat was comfortable and the cabin crew was awesome. Flight was on time, check in was acceptable (considering people travelling from Bandung has a lot of check in baggage due to shopping)."
The menu options in business class were few and the crew kept running out of the desired options! So what seemed like 4 options for meals turned out to be just one option! The entertainment system had very few movie selections for Hollywood and Bollywood movies. The audio in the headphones was poor as it was difficult to follow the dialogues; my fellow travelers had similar complaints.

They made me transfer my booking for another day and told me to go to the embassy for a visa. Then they didn’t issue the boarding pass for the replacement flight"

The fact it was 15 hours of dryness, put a damper on the flight. Also, there was a prayer to “allah” that came on the info system, and the plane was chanting. Very uncomfortable. Probably will not fly this airline again."

First the transit area is crowded and very small The transit airport is only for Saudi airlines , they have only one lounge which is not supporting any Visa card ( means if your Visa card allow you to enter for free lounge you will not find it case it will be in the main airport which they will not allow you to go their and if you want to enter the only lounge their means you must pay or to be alfursan member ) . Second when we enter the airplane and when we reach the runway the captain announced (We have technical problem and we will go back to the gate to fix it) . We stayed 2 hours plus in the airplane then they said we fix it and we will start our journey now . Third :When I reached cairo airport sound 3:30 am , i didn’t find my only bag :( Not only me , around 15-20 passengers had same issue . We went to the counter and they said it’s usually happens in Saudi airlines in the busy season , I was shocked , then he said wait for the next flight case they put some bags on it , I have no choice except waiting case it’s my only bag and everything is in it . But unfortunately after waiting in the airport till 7:30 am I got nothing , they took my number and they give me document that I have a missed bag and they will contact me within 48 hours to update me . I was planing to travel out of cairo but I couldn’t case they said i need to be in cairo if I want the bag to be delivered fast . So I waited till they call me again around 4-5 pm the delivery company told me that they have my bag , I was surprised that they remove the plastic packing ( which we keep it for safety ) and they said case it’s needed to be removed before entering in the X-ray , more over the delivery company ask me to meet them around the airport and I reached before them ( the funny thing , they reach to me through public transportation) what a careless!!!"
Air Asia’s standard has dropped tremendously post pandemic. The whole organisation feels ‘soul-less’

In Kuala Lumpur had to go through customs (LUCKILY! no visa required) get my bag, go security line again, check bag again. Took over 2hrs stressed if I would make my flight."
