Pros: "Crew was quick to serve any on-board item I ordered. Happily served with a smile"
Cons: "I’ve been traveling with AirAsia since quite a few years, but recently AirAsia flights are being delayed quite often. This is not how budget airlines usually work. They’re known for their on-time operations. I hope AirAsia works to improve on this issue."
Pros: "The boarding was fast."
Cons: "Self-service boarding didn't work fully, causing some delay for my wife even though everything was in order. The flight was delayed and no over-the-air announcement or explanation or apology was given."
Cons: "On time"
Pros: "Our seats were comfortable and the landing was smooth"
Cons: "All food and drink had to be paid for -even water!"
Pros: "Airport crew was friendly and provided umbrellas to everyone as they boarded plane. Managed brief rain-related departure delay well. Nice in flight travel magazine."
Cons: "Bag fees were high. I misunderstood when booking as website said on bag (meaning "cabin bag"/"carry on"), so not only did I have to pay the standard luggage cost for my one check in bag but also a same-day late fee, making it twice as expensive."
Pros: "Pleasant counter service at the terminal."
Cons: "Half hour late"
Cons: "Flight delayed 2hrs"
Pros: "The aircraft was very clean!"
Cons: "2 months travel in SE Asia, 11 flights , 7 airlines. Only this flight did they want to charge hundreds for our luggage. They brought it down a bit but still cost more tha the tickets."

Cons: "After early boarding still wait like 30 min plus seating in plane"
Pros: "Ease of checking in -- and getting to the gate."

Cons: "Flight delayed close to 2 hours. Only notified once we we’re in the boarding hall"

Pros: "quick check-in and no-nonsense."
Cons: "They were fine."
Cons: "Flight was delayed."
Cons: "The delays......"
Pros: "Very little"
Cons: "Flight delayed by around over 7 hours. Only discovered this when went to check in. This has meant we are currently stuck in KL airport awaiting a morning flight having already paid for a nights accommodation in Penang. Airline has refused to take any responsibility for the situation."
Cons: "The leg room is deplorable. My knees were continuously hitting the hard seat in front of me and going sideways wasn't even an option. I've never had this happen to me before. I'm a female and 5'9 and this is the least space I've ever had on a flight. So uncomfortable I can't imagine a long flight with this airline, which is good to know because now I will not use them for flying to Malaysia from NYC. Also both flights were delayed by nearly an hour each."
Cons: "Almost impossible to request wheel chair service for elderly even if we are willing to pay for it. Any add-ons or extra services come with unreasonably hefty (and hidden) price tag. I would absolutely avoid flying AirAsia at all cost in the future."
Pros: "It's good when u pay rm50 something, but later u will have to wait!"
Cons: "Chaotic boarding, and of course, around an hour delay."
Pros: "Service ..very good"
Cons: "Flight Delay"
Cons: "Would be better if they had WIFI on Flight"
Pros: "Staff, flight, seats, etc. were all good. We will fly Air Asia more in the future."
Cons: "Nothing to complain about. Everything went as seamless as a flight can be."
Pros: "We reached our destination"
Cons: "When researching flights, I really wish AirAsia's procedures were spelled out. Having to pay for each checked bag and each kg over a relatively low allowance was extremely annoying. Even worse, each leg of the flight (due to a layover) required payment. In addition, paying for the seat, paying for peanuts and water?? Probably the worst was the air crew refusing to give a blanket to my freezing fiance without purchasing the pillow, blanket and eye mask bundle. Seriously?? Then towards the end of the flight, the crew walk the aisles holding alcohol and perfume trying to peddle their duty-free products on the plane itself. It was quite evident by this point that the competitve ticket price is a hoax, and all that they are interested in is getting as much money from you as possible. Unless I have no choice, I will never fly this airline again. Please, warn people of these practices BEFORE they purchase the tickets!!"
Pros: "Overall not bad the flight left on time and was a good flight."
Cons: "Please be forewarned, pay for your bags ahead of time if you can figure out how. We had a short flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and had not paid for our bags. It ended up costing us more for two bags than the flight for the both of us. For that reason alone I would probably not fly with them again unless it was the only option."
Pros: "On time flight. Pleasant attendants"
Cons: "It was my first time flying a LCC. OK, it is my fault for not knowing they charge much higher rate of extras for any add-ons you fail to include when you first book the flight. I get it. But why do they make it impossible to access "manage your flight" online to make necessary changes on return flight? And I got nowhere with the online chat box, s nowhere to turn.... Making such changes on Tiger Air was so much easier and intuitive. I'll never fly Air Asia if I can help it."
Cons: "Everything also must charge, the worst one is even you pay them money they still want to charge extra, seat is the smallest among all airline."
Pros: "Flights were on time."
Cons: "All food and drinks were sold at additional cost, not even small snacks or water included in the price of the flight ticket."
Cons: "I was charged $94 canadian to check one bag that weighed in at 10kg. I honestly thought the man at the desk was joking. After that he sneered at me and suggested that if I had not booked through Kayak and instead through the airline, that it would be a little cheaper. He then pushed me to hand over my credit card so he could charge me. From then on all I have to say is that the planes have no entertainment, no leg room (they are known for the insanely tight seats) and no food. Not even a drop of water was offered unless you pay on board. Interesting...I wonder what they do then with all of the money they took to accept my one bag (it was seriously 10k, I'm a small girl travelling alone there was nothing large about it). All that to say, I wish I could get some money back, I would never have paid so much to check a bag if I had the opportunity to cancel the flight all together. I'm beyond unhappy with my experience."
Pros: "Good price - efficient transportation"
Cons: "Having to scramble to find money for water. I understand that it is a very well priced airlines but when you are stuck in a plane water would be nice to be free"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "The seats are so close together one had to sit with legs spread apart and fold out tray hit your chest when opened. Staff spend more time selling AirAsia paraphanila and duty free than attending customers. No water nothing is offered for free. One flight booked had one luggage Free and the next we paid 72americian for 1 small suitcase. No info provided on luggage when booking. Sneaky way to make money. Use Firefly Airlines for a great budget airline"
Pros: "Love the staff"
Cons: "Everything was expensive"
Cons: "Bag fees not clear and totally unreasonable, no way to check in or check bags online unless you register with their nosy BIG Points. Late by 1.5 hours! Can't get ANYTHING to eat or drink without paying in local currency cash, not even water. Seats squished together and really uncomfortable. Baggage takes a long time to come out. Poor wayfinding at Kuala Lumpur Airport."
Cons: "All was good"
Pros: "In the US most recognize Southwest Airlines as an efficient low-cost carrier. AirAsia is all that with nice aircraft AND comfortable assigned seats."
Cons: "If your going to check a bag you can do it easily at the airport and you will pay per pound/kilo. If you know the approximate weight you can do it in advance on-line and save time. Example: 40 kilos /80 lbs was $40 usd."
Cons: "The seats were awful, outdated, no charging ports, tv didn't' work, air didn't work, crew were awful/rude... even checking in my bag upon arriving at the airport was an ordeal. If I can help it, I won't be flying Air Asia again!!!"
Pros: "Crew very efficient, seating comfortable compared to other Spore-KL Budget flights."
Pros: "Few flight attendant were cool"
Cons: "Free luggage"
Pros: "Flight on time"
Pros: "Todo bien"
Pros: "Because the flight is so short it is hard to evaluate. But overall it was smooth and quick."
Cons: "It was a little hard to determine which zone was boarding when you came in midway. Had to wait a while to figure if your rows were called to board or not."
Pros: "The detail of booking didn't show has paid bag fee.so confuse .And also kayak keep on asking want checking bag....."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Had to pay more for hidden baggage fees at the airport for carry-on bags then for the cost of the flight itself. Storage bins on the plane were completely open too. Corrupt and deceitful business model"
Cons: "The staffs are very rude and not helpful at all. They cancelled my flight just because i did not book the flight out of philippines and had to wait in the airport for 5 hours to get my baggae after they cancelled my flight. Very very dissapointing."
Pros: "On time Clean Friendly crew"
Cons: "High price for budget airline Not even water is free"
Pros: "In a journey back to the early 90s, prepare yourself for rigid bench seats, lack of entertainment, inedible food that you must pay for, and all the bells and whistles having met a dismal end"
Cons: "You have to pay $60 to check one bag. Zero free drinks or snack, not even water. Not sure what we paid for for our tickets which we’rent exactly cheap..."
Cons: "Staff was rude again, there is no room, they made us remove our ear buds for landing. You have no bag room in the back because the crew uses them instead. Won’t be using them again if I can avoid it"
Pros: "General ok"
Cons: "Plane full...good for jetstar but not good for me travelling with 2 infant on lap..."
Cons: "We had to pay over $165 USD for luggage. On a 7hr flight we cldnt even get water w/o paying for you"
Cons: "My girlfriend and I purchased tickets on Kayak to Malaysia. The price seemed decent and we got the hours we wanted...there was no option to add baggage when I was booking the ticket so I assumed the baggage was included (like on many international flights.) When we got to the airport, our flight was over two hours delayed...We wanted to switch to another flight instead because we had a whole day planned, but they said because it was through a third-party we were not able to do that and there was no way to contact kayak directly. So we were forced to wait and when we went to go check in our luggage they tried to charge us $60 for 15 kg and $20 for every additional kilogram. They said it was too late to get the online price (which was half of that amount) My luggage was 25 kg which amounted to an additional $200 which ended up costing MORE than my round trip flight. Jetstar is the worst airline I have ever flown. I emailed kayak for a refund or some customer support after the nightmare we dealt with ON New Year’s Day and still have yet to hear back about this matter. Going back to solely booking airlines directly or through Expedia because at least you can get in touch with them when things go wrong."
Pros: "Timely and professional crew."
Cons: "Seats too tight. Have to pay for beverages or water."
Cons: "Staff helping with check-in did not feel very qualified"
Pros: "On board service was very good."
Cons: "Old A320 with uncomfortuable seats."
Cons: "I had only one baggageto check in and was forced to pay 30 min before the boarding time."
Pros: "The cost was efficient."
Cons: "The food is terrible and overpriced."
Cons: "Leg room is very limited for someone 6ft 3in or about 193cm. The flight is short from Singapore to Pekanbaru, so missing entertainment on board is not a big issue. Food and duty free can be purchased on board, which is really amazing for a short flight that the crew manages to get all that done."
Pros: "The flight was on time and the crew were nice."
Cons: "Nothing is complementary, including water."
Pros: "Easy transfer. Was late on first flight but luckily didn't miss the second one."
Cons: "For some odd reason 3 our of 4 of party received food, but for the fourth person they said we didn't book a meal with the ticket. We bought all the tickets together and saw no place when booking regarding meal service. It wasn't devastating, just odd."
Pros: "Best way for a reasonable price"
Cons: "Food was nothing special. Very nice pictures but not the food"
Pros: "The flight was pleasantly uneventful. Cabin crew was nice and efficient. Didn't order any food so I can't rate that. Neither can I rate the entertainment since it was a short flight without such. Say at exit row so had comfortable legroom."
Cons: "Check-in was terrible. The kiosks were a huge fail. Most passengers then had to queue at regular check-in counters which were only 2. Took so long since they apparently all of a sudden don't check you in if someone else purchased your ticket. In my case my brother bought mine. They wanted to see the physical card used for purchase, along with the card owner of course. After a long wait it turns out there's no issue with my ticket since it wasn't purchased directly from jetstar. In such a case, they don't care how the ticket was bought. Their policy sucks. The self check-in kiosks are useless. I will avoid Jetstar at all costs from now on. Never have I experienced such horrible service in any airline before."
Cons: "I heard bag fees were high, but so much worse than I expected. The baggage fees for my wife and I cost more than the flight, almost $300 USD. Will NEVER fly Jetstar again."
Pros: "Cheap flight"
Cons: "Delayed, poor counter assistance team for check in."
Cons: "I did not like the fact jetstar did not includ checked baggage for an international flight. i ended up having to pay about 55usd more. moreover no food no drink. i will never fly international with them again. after all i could of flew with some of the best airlines for the price i ended up paying. *got stuck in singapore airport for 10 hours *flight was super cold so a person would have to spend extra money on the comfort kit"
Pros: "The initial price tag"
Cons: "Hidden fees for assigned seat, bags weighing more than 7kg, boarding the flight from the back to front."
Pros: "short trips all right, not for long trips"
Cons: "charged me too much for check in luggage"
Pros: "good price except..."
Cons: "Just for one checked bag it was $120 Usd. They said either pay for it or leave it. There was no warning and no other options. There's no room when it comes to seating. In the lounge area or on the plane. They offer ramen for $20 on the flight. No perks. Just very uncomfortable seats and outrageous prices! I wish someone had warned me."
Cons: "Had no idea about the baggage charges. Kayak failed to mention. I will never book on them again."
Cons: "Outrageous baggage fees. I paid over $200 USD for 2 bags. This was so much more than the actual flight itself. I was never told how crappy Jetstar's baggage policy was and I will never fly them again. In fact, it makes me bitter with Kayak even though it doesn't necessarily reflect on you. You should never recommend this airline EVER AGAIN!!"
Cons: "$50 to check a bag for a 2 hour flight. Brutal."
Pros: "Comfortable plush seats"
Cons: "No beverage or water service Tiny plane Rattling in plane"
Pros: "cheap price if you dont need any changes and customer service"
Cons: "Family of 6, my wife could not travel due to her father being terminally ill, leaving 5 to travel, trying to get a refund or passenger change or date change was totally fruitless and met with an uncompromising service providor. As we had paid for her seat and she did not travel, i thought my consolation prise was going to be extra room being a spare seat between myself and my son. Wrong, Jetstar had allocated the seat i had paid for to a jetstar staff member paxing to singapore. Our return flight was similar with my paid for seat being sat in?????"
Cons: "Crew was more in the way during boarding than they were helpful."
Pros: "Overall I think it was basically good."
Cons: "I think drinking water should be at least complimentary. I understand the sales, but some basic cordiality seemed forgotten."
Cons: "Delayed flights"
Pros: "I had three seats across all to myself"
Cons: "I could not change to pay for checked luggage ahead of time online"
Cons: "Was reallocated a Malaysians Airline flight due to missing connection entirely due to Qantas delays. That flight was also delayed departing Singapore. Overall a horrific flight"
Pros: "Fairly cheap, but there are other nearly as cheap flights."
Cons: "Nickel and diming to death. My reservation was put on hold as I did not pay for checked baggage. If you have to pay, just charge it upfront. Don't hold my booking ransom for it!"
Pros: "Cabin crew were great."
Cons: "Seat was uncomfortable. Ground crew were so so."
Pros: "Boarding was quick. Plane was on time. Staff was great. Perfect for a budget airline."
Cons: "All good"
Pros: "none will not take jetstar again"
Cons: "everything. too bumpy, no leg room, no entertainment"
Cons: "Since the flight was only $48, I was really surprised when they charged me another $48 to check one 15Kg bag. Seems a bit much."
Cons: "My luggage arrived fine but the person I was flying with did not receive her luggage in Bangkok and has still not received it. This interfears with our travel plans and forces us to spend extra time and money waiting in Bangkok for her luggage to be found. Rather annoying"
Pros: "I liked the idea of potentially going to Bangkok."
Cons: "I ordered Kayak / JetStar's flight insurance and failed to read the fine print. I was unable to take the flight due to shifting employment. Even after paying all that money to be covered in case of cancellation, they didn't allow me to cancel the flight. Therefore, the flight was poor because I wasn't on it. Bangkok would have been nice..."
