Cons: "We paid $37 to check in 1 Baggage and the flight from SFO to Beijing had delivered the baggage in baggage claim area. We had to take Chinese Visa to get to the baggage, even-though it is a transit. We missed the next connecting flight to Shenzhen as it ate up all our time. Now have to travel in the mercy of the airlines for next flight. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LIST THAT "VISA NEEDED IF CHECKING IN BAGGAGE" MISSED ALL FLIGHTS"
Cons: "Luggage check-in weighs luggage 22 kilos more than its actual weight and I was asked to pay almost RM650 ~ ($170), when I was asked to recheck they had to pull my luggage back and that took almost 40 minutes to later know that they made a huge mistake! 20 minutes to the boarding time I got confirmation that my luggage weights are correct and given a boarding pass to gate P11. walked to gate P11 and saw no one there, and there were no signs of what was happening, I checked Kayak app then I noticed that they changed the gate to L10 which is a totally different building ( 16 minutes before gate closure ), I had to run the whole airport to go to gate L10. not to mention that flight was delayed by a good 1 hour!"

I checked in with plenty of time and when I arrived in Singapore I was advised that not only could they not call to Panang to inquire about my bag -it had to be arranged through email but also bags aren’t destination scanned! I work for United airlines and it seems primitive not to know where a bag is in today’s day and age. The following day, knowing that I was departing back to the United States miraculously my bag showed up at the airport the same time as my minimum required check in time."

Boarding is always bad but now a new system to read tickets is worse than ever! My knees touch the seat in front it is so crammed...at least short one hour of discomfort."
Pros: "1.The crew was average. the seat comfort is different in different rows as far as legroom is concerned. 2. The crew member was not aware of the procedure involved in passengers involved transfers to various destinations after landing at New Delhi. They misguided some passengers(including me) directing them to exit through emmigration procedure, collect the baggage and report at domestic transfer desk. we had been issued Transfer Boarding Pass at Chicago itself for our connection flight to Bengaluru.There was no need to go through the emmigration at New Delhi and collect the baggage. The baggage collection procedure was a hell of a business. This can be verified from the various registers maintained at domestic transfer desk. it took almost 3 hours for getting the luggage going through the customs etc, 4. At the arrival lounge there was no AIR INDIA HELP DESK or representative to guide the passengers. Similarly, the sign board only displayed transfers/baggage claims arrows. and the suddenly one finds a sign board displaying domestic transfers. At this point confusion arises as the passengers disembarked from international flights are required to go to international transfers where there is no requirements for emmigration and baggage collection as the emmigration procedures take place at final destination if it has the facilities. 3, The numbers of passengers affected may be verified from the various registers at the airport. On three registers kept at various entry points, we had to make entries as regards passport No. baggage tag No. Fligh No. etc, etc."
Cons: "WE received an email from AIR INDIA that our connecting Flight AI 174 from New Delhi to Bengaluru has been cancelled due to operational reasons. The new connecting flight is AI 1174 from New Delhi to Bengaluru. 2. While checking in at Chicago we were issued Transfer boarding passes for second leg of journey from New Delhi to Bengaluru. It displayed Flight No. AI 174, instead of AI 1174. When this was brought to the notice of the official at the counter at Chicago airport he told in their computer there is no change. The baggage tags also displayed AI 174. 3. After alighting at New Delhi and going through all the hell when we checked in at domestic transfer desk, the official observed that out Transfer Boarding passes for Delhi-Bengaluru sector is for AI 174 and the luggage ( four bags) also contained the same flight number AI 174. 4, we were told we will now be issued new boarding passes for AI 1774 as domestic passengers. SIMILARLY, new baggage tags were placed on luggage. There we were also told that AI 174 a San Francisco to Bengaluru Flight via New Delhi is not cancelled and it is only delayed, Had we not been misguided at Delhi, we could have simply boarded AI 174 at Delhi and the luggage also could have reached Bengaluru in the same flight without we going through the procedure of baggage retrieval process at Delhi as it was along with other passengers luggage already kept AT DELHI AIRPORT departure terminal for uploading in AI 174. It is our humble suggestion that even by mistake if passengers go through emmigration procedures at one airport instead of the next port of destination, system should be in place to take care of the same by MARKING the person to again go through the emmigration procedure at the final destination.."
Cons: "Leg room was poor. All the aisle and window seats were being sold at extra rates. Entertainment system was pre-historic with very limited choices. Food was bland and nothing appealing. The staff, for most part was invisible. They appeared during the serving of the meals and then vanished."

Cons: "My seat would NOT recline. For a 15 hour flight with non-reclining seat was painfull. I complained to the crew member and he just passed it to someone who never came and checked. When I inquired again, he told me that it was a mechanical issue with the seat and they other with same issue. He said sorry, it will be repaired once on ground. Mu back is hurting after one full day of rest at home. Just they don't have any courtesy or customer satisfaction mind set. This is why they are loss making airlines. Next time will take another airlines."

Very bad food and service. Did not get a pillow. The airhostess said there were few pillows and they ran out! Also did not have headphones. . Will not travel with Air India in the future. Did not take expect my mational airlines to be this pathetic. Also was an hour late . The arm rests are worn out. Dirty seats."

The seats were rickety and the reclining didn’t work right, the entertainment screens didn’t work correctly, the audio to connect to the entertainment screen was completely ripped out of the seat and they told me that it was too bad and they couldn’t fix it, the food was terrible, and the service was equally terrible. Flight attendants would ignore the call button if you tried to page them, and I was left with the garbage from my meal for multiple hours. I thought it would be a decent airline because it was part of Star Alliance, but it was an absolutely terrible experience."
