There is a limited number of ferries that arrive to Canada from the United States. The main two travel from Alaska to Prince Rupert and from Washington to Sidney, both in the British Columbia province.

Flying is the fastest and most convenient way to get around the country, and this is made easier by the presence of over 500 airports, both international and regional, ensuring you can get everywhere by plane.

When it comes to renting an apartment in Canada, the most expensive cities are Vancouver and Toronto, while Québec City is one of the least expensive. An average weekly grocery shop will be around 75 CAD (57 USD), while a meal at an inexpensive restaurant will cost around 15 CAD (12 USD).
