After going through the whole security screening process to enter the departures area (I boarded in Singapore), the whole security process is performed again to get to the gate. Why do I and my carry-on luggage need to be checked twice? Once at the gate, all passengers are herded like sheep into an area that has insufficient seats for the number of passengers, so many are left to stand or sit on the floor. If the airline wants to use a plane that carries 500+ passengers, then use a gate that can accommodate that number."

I am sure if left up to Emirates / Qantas we would still be sitting at Dubai looking at the board."

We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

Cons: "I showed up roughly an hour before the flight, as I had no bags to check in. The employees at the check in counter had already cleared out, so I was unable to get my boarding pass. Then when I called in, they were extremely unhelpful. They gave me no alternative options, and instead only listed out a ridiculous list of fees and said I they could get me on a flight a different day for a total cost that was greater than what I had paid for the entire round trip ticket. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused to connect me. I ended up buying a one way ticket home with another airline. I will not fly with Turkish Airlines again in the future, and I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Just beware of this service if you see them listed as the cheapest option."

Almost nothing to eat, an airplane from the 1990's without an usb port to charge devices, and besides, my luggage came out with a broken wheel.

The lady at the boarding to assign us seats was rude and non caring .

The airline is terrible. They did not allow me to check in a bag ahead of time for my flight. I checked when I bought the ticket, I checked weeks before, I checked each day leading up to the day of my flight if I could add a checked bag and Latam kept telling me I had to do it at the airport when I check in. When I got to the airport they over charged me and told me I could have avoided the charge of $130 if I had paid ahead of time. When I explained that I tried and was told to do it at the airport, they gave me terrible excuses and pretty much told me too bad and robbed me of $130. I will never fly Latam again.

LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

I know that this is something that happens often for all sorts of reasons, however I can’t help but think it had something to do with the transition of my luggage from one flight to the next. My flights home are similar ( One leg of it being operated by another airline) and needless to say I’m a bit nervous about that."

Once airborne, the flight was uneventful. However, the flight was an hour late leaving the gate due to a weight and balance problem that needed to be corrected by restowing luggage in the baggage compartment. Several passengers missed connections in PHX; no representative from American Airlines (the captain or terminal representative) made an apology for the delay or missed connections. First class food service is poor. Nothing is warmed; sandwiches are all the same (two slices of processed meat or turkey with cheese on a pretzel roll). No hand santizers are offered or provided as was done during early covid restrictions.

The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

So, rather than KNOW this while searching for a Captain, they waited for 3 hours and then had to find a 1st Officer to fill in. Result 2.5 more hours of delay. Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Not weather or mechanical - just poorly managed time -- BY A MAJOR AIRLINE - INEXCUSABLE!"

At first I started to purchase a ticket to Uruguay by boat and the attendant even asked me the website of the boat because she told me that these problems come up all the time for expats going to Argentina for longer than 3 months. You are ONLY AN AIRLINE. YOU ARE NOT THE IMMIGRATION OF ARGENTINA. Having this said, I never plan to fly Avianca again."

1.4 hour delay. Changed gates, no information about filling out COVID Forms. I paid for extra leg-room and was still housed in a cramped seat by the exit/bathroom. Not sure it was worth it. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: "Seats are very tight and are short on comfort. The "occupied" toilet signs not working causing queues. On meals, forget the things that are impossible to to sustain in a fresh/tasty state, like melon, Tomatoes fried, certain types of sandwich where the bread absorbs any liquid/juice, overuse of rolls. The meals are tested under almost clinical conditions, who ever travels Economy and tastes the food in situ. Put more of the edible foood in. People prefer a single course meal as against a 3 course with dead ends on each side of the main."

The lounge also did not offer red eye passengers a meal and the on board meal service is slow (so if you are hungry it eats into precious sleeping time). The breakfast wakeup was also disappointing. My meal of choice was not available and the whole process was rushed like a fast food restaurant. Overall I am disappointed by the club world offering on this route and would not pay for it again unless intended to get on and just sleep for the entire journey."

In between meals, I request for some snacks and they said they don't carry any snacks at all - onboard a 12-hour long flight. I asked to BUY some Malteser chocolate and pringles, and the air crew exclaim "ohhhh but it's on the upper deck, I would have to climb up to get some." Here how about some bread rolls and butter. They offered me stale bread from the previous meal. I am their One World Partners SAPPHIRE Member. I shudder to think how they would treat their standard economy class passengers."
