Pros: "Staff are great and on board service was good. Boarding is always well organised from Changi however it was a full flight and as always half the passengers exceeded their carry on allowance. Rather than addressing this bags were flung everywhere no nowhere within your actual reach during the flight. Very annoying when you are a passenger who does the right thing."

It was delayed for more than 1 hour due to LIMA when many planes landed & took-off at the same time. It could ve been better if the pilot or crew informed us every few minutes so that we know what’s going on.

Pros: "There was one local manager who smiled a lot and tried to promise things that it turned out he wasn't allowed to promise while his airline was screwing me."

Firefly canceled my flight "several weeks ago", according to them, didn't notify me by phone or email despite the fact that they admitted they had both on file, didn't refund the money to my credit card until the day before departure so i had no idea of the change, and then provided no help whatsoever when i arrived at the airport and the flight didn't exist anymore."
Pros: "Everything was smooth and easy. Check-in line was short, the whole airport experience was quick and easy. Flight was smooth, comfortable, staff was so friendly. When I checked in for my flight in Penang, the girl who helped me, Kay, was the most friendly help I've ever had.. She offered me a great seat and was patient and friendly when I requested to be moved around. She made conversation while we waited for the system to finish, and had a huge smile the whole time. She set the time for the whole airport and flight experience, and had me smiling the rest of the day. If there's a way to tell her bosses - she is a gem, hang on to her! I'm looking forward to my next trip on firefly!"

You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.

They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."

The flight I took before: they change the airplane to batik which was worse with no entertainment, smaller seat pitch, etc. I book Malindo for a reason and paid for what expected using Malindo!! If they had to change the plane they should've given better one or given back compensation to passengers! Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad."
Cabin crew as always are leaps and bounds the crowning glory of MH. Friendliness and natural warmth are such incredible traits. Food was very good on this flight also; and flexibility in meal time to accomodate rest was a plus point. Early arrival and landing as the first morning inbound at T4 LHR meant I was off the plane and in the queue for an Uber in less than 15 minutes!

No one from Malaysia Airlines showed off to explain the situation. Me and my wife dont have any clothes to change. Very bad"

100% dislike due to last minutes flight cancellations and terrible customer service experience. Do notice us early at least 24 hours before departure time.

Cons: "I’m just a BIG guy so space is my overall complaint. But as my first experience with AirAsia, it has not been a great one. First my initial flight kept being delayed and delayed until it was actually canceled. Then my second leg of my vacation trip, again, delayed and they just had us standing in line waiting to board our flight. Again I give praise to the wonderful crew members for the stellar and comforting service. They truly are the reason I have not given up on AirAsia just yet. Now I do have one leg left, my tip home...I’m hoping that this one will be the overall best experience for my AirAsia. I’m praying for an on time departure, and another wonderful staff and just a tiny bit more leg space. Wish me luck"
