Pros: It was a good flight
Cons: The long delay......
Pros: Organised well. Clean plane. Excellnt comms from pilot and staff presented well.
Cons: Could not recline chair
Cons: The flight cancelled.first we boarded twice and been waiting for 7 hours Inside and outside the plane thereafter they gave up and decided to cancel it ..it was nightmare
Pros: Everything worked
Pros: Comfortable and all crews are nice
Cons: Entertainment but because of poor entertainment I could sleep for eight hours. Thank you.
Pros: This flight was shorter but i felt flight attendants were still very attentive.
Cons: Didn’t have individual screens to watch movies. One movie didn’t have English subtitles. Not that i cared because I was in and out of sleep, just pointing it out.
Cons: This was my 2nd international flight with China Eastern Air. Both were delayed out of SFO because they didn't have planes. I missed my connection (even though I had a 4 hour layover)
Pros: The service is phenomenal. They served so many meals i felt like a bear in hibernation, waking up, eating and going back to sleep.
Cons: I don’t have anything bad to say. The service was really good.
Cons: Absence of jet-way, unclean flight bad restrooms staff didn't speak or understand english
Pros: I was finally able to have a working TV. Crew was great again.
Pros: The stewards and stewardess’ were pleasant
Cons: Our first Air China flight departed 2 hrs late and then to top things off they lost my wife’s luggage on the way to Thailand. We had to wait in the airport for hours for it arrive on the next flight. The experience at Beijing airport was my worst experience in any airport. The Chinese staff were very rude. Just to transfer planes everyone must submit their fingerprints. I don’t think I will ever fly Air China again simply to avoid this airport.
Pros: Very professional flight crew
Cons: -10 degrees and people hoarded in a bus to board an international flight that has no access to aerobridge. Vegetarian food for Air China is rice and boiled vegetables. Broken entertainment system. In short, the flight was disappointing
Pros: Crew very friendly
Cons: Seats are hard and uncomfortable
Pros: Same as my first flight
Cons: Same as my first flight, but the delay this time did not cause me to miss a connection as my travel terminated in Bangkok.
Pros: Lovely crew, good amount of food and drink available.
Cons: Sound on some of the entertainment options was too low to hear, so I ended up using my phone instead.
Pros: Food, crew, handicap assistant, stewardess
Cons: No screen/tv
Pros: Excellent customer service with every question
Cons: One hour departure delay due to technical checkup but I’m glad they fixed it prior to taking off.
Pros: The staff was very nice and allowed me to change my seat to be near the door as I had a connecting flight fairly soon after arriving in Manila. This flight was very comfortable and excellent.
Cons: There was no movie but that is Ok. I just read
Pros: Excellent customer service
Cons: 15-20min delay to board
Pros: Everything, from the check in process, to the flight itself.
Cons: Nothing to eat, except a cup of juice or water.
Pros: Excellent check in and boarding. Being a short flight, by the time they've served you water or juice, it's time to land.
Cons: Only juice or water?
Pros: Business Class flight was a smooth ride from Vietnam to Thailand.
Cons: Delayed by almost 2 hours.
Cons: At boarding, crew didn't allow me my preference for a front seat, and gave an excuse that it's chosen random. He booked both my seats at tge tail of the taxi whereas I requested front seat. In flight, I wasn't asked for my meal preference. They served me pork, whereas I eat a Hindu meal (No Beef and No Pork) They served the end part so late that by the time I could eat they were already descending, and they rushed me to eat. I couldn't eat it anyways except the fruits. No juice or water either was served.
Pros: I like the way Cathay has changed the process for selecting and serving dinner in business class. It adds a bit of class to the experience.
Pros: Good quality plane with good entertainment options. Staff were good but seemed stretched, perhaps not enough staff?
Cons: Plan was 2 hours late departing, my daughter also took this flight 6 weeks beforehand and had similar delays.
Cons: Seats unconfertabale
Cons: Flight was suspended I was not notified before I went to the airport
Pros: only the deffective TV particularly seat 30f
Cons: deffetive TV..i just sleep thru out my flght
Cons: Change to HiFly plane - noticeable difference in most aspects
Pros: I Like The Flight is On Time
Cons: Don’t really like because I had booked RB from kayak and they never give any e-ticket number nor booked number and made me cannot check in online and need to wait for almost 30mins just to get the check in, Hope when you have a corporate with another online company please let them provide any e-ticket number or booking reference number, thanks
Pros: They are friendly and able to be approach when we have
Cons: The flight was new.
Pros: Didn’t like any part of the flight.
Cons: The cabin was way too hot for comfort. The food wasn’t good. Little entertainment options.
Pros: Service and attention from the stewardess
Cons: Limited in-flight entertainment
Pros: I'll give a more complete and less-biased review if I get it back!
Pros: Staff are very nice
Cons: Movies are limited selections
Pros: The price. Significantly cheaper than our normal ride on EVA through Taipei. Having said that...won't do it again.
Cons: We travel between the US and Asia a couple of times a year and normally fly on EVA, who has wonderful service and great food. We took Asiana this time because the ticket price was significantly less than EVA. Below are the reasons we won't do it again. 1. The food was awful. My wife had the Asian dishes and I had the Western dishes. Both were well below the quality of food we're used to on EVA. 2. Transit in Seoul. On the way to Bangkok from LA we had 50 minutes to transit Seoul to our next flight. The transit security line was quite long and it was obvious that we, along with a few dozen other passengers, weren't going to be able to make the connection. After much complaining from us and our fellow passengers they ran us through another security line. Rushed to the airplane and made it. On returning to LA from Bangkok it was exactly the opposite. The only option was nearly 8 hours connection in Seoul. But we had plenty of time to negotiate the transit security line. These connect times did not occur because of a last-minute ticket purchase. I purchased these tickets in July for a December/January flight to Bangkok and return. 3. Inflight service was not at the level of EVA. Like any other Asian carrier, the flight attendants were light years ahead of ANY US airline crew, but below the standard of EVA. Waking you up to eat a meal (I typically don't eat dinner at 1AM), etc. I was sleeping with my seat reclined and the flight attendant took it upon herself to upright my seat at meal time and woke me up, presumably so the person in the seat behind me was more comfortable with space to eat their meal, but hey...I purchased the seat to sleep just like the other passenger purchased the seat to eat, so I think I had just as much right to "my space and comfort" as the other passenger did. Just little stuff that doesn't happen on EVA. 4. Inflight entertainment is lacking as compared to EVA. Few movie and TV choices, few game choices. 5. We sat in economy. The seats were not very comfortable. Seems the cushions were thin and it became like sitting on plywood after a while. Legroom on the 747 flight wasn't so great, but there was plenty of legroom on the A380. The A380 seating was still kinda hard, but the legroom sure helped. 6. Boarding process. Poorly organized. Nobody pays a bit of attention to "boarding by row number". Consequently it's a bit of chaos during boarding. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" is true. For a flight of that length I won't choose to save the $200 or so per ticket and will ride on EVA. We've proven to ourselves that EVA is just pretty hard to beat.
Pros: It was a direct flight to Phuket
Cons: Flight was delayed for 2 hours, then didn't board for another 45 minutes after that. We were given a mediocre coffee or soft drink in a lounge, no food. Basically the afternoon at Patong was wasted because we didn't arrive until after 5pm. Vietjet is renowned for this sloppiness and persistent delays.
Pros: Plane was clean and boarding was efficient. Good value. Flight was on time.
Cons: Online booking experience was confusing as I was rerouted to Kiwi. Tried to pay for both bags at time of booking but was told due to a technical issue I had to pay at the airport. When checking in was forced to pay in cash. More of an inconvenience and caught us off guard. Plane was old and seats were very small and uncomfortable.
Cons: No free water on a 5 hour flight. Poor choice of snacks to purchase. No leg room. Chaotic at boarding time. Expensive for the service
Cons: Baggage policy ridiculous. I was prepared bc I’d heard about the 7g rule but still had me running around almost missing the flight to pay the fee at a different location than the check in desk. The other location had staff on a break. Then no one else at the check in wanted to accept payment so that I could move on to boarding. Staff not friendly about the whole process.
Cons: Customer service. Not helpful at all. They were more interested in getting rid of us. There was a man in a wheelchair who injured his leg in a bike accident. He needed to get to Vietnam for medical help. They told him they couldn’t accommodate him. They also refused to give helpful. They just left him. Your airline is run by heartless people. I would never recommend Viet jet to my worst enemy
Pros: The food, the service, the entertainment were the best. Every time the bathrooms were used they were cleaned, you never see that on US based flights, ever!!!
Pros: The food choices, included Korean dishes. The disposal slippers are great when taking shoes off. The air hostesses were friendly and helpful. Good leg room.
Cons: Movie selections were not that great, many good current movies were not available. Seat does not have enough lower back support, was literally having to sit on my pillow and blanket due to lower back pain.
Pros: The new plane was amazing on my way back from Singapore to Chicago. The staff is extremely courteous. The food was good which included some traditional Korean food options and some western cuisine.
Cons: On my way from Chicago to Singapore, they had an old plane and the business class was mediocre at best. The seats were uncomfortable. They were stacked side by side and did not have a "personal pod" formation which in my honest opinion is quite a waste of thousands of dollars you paid to travel. Additionally, the entertainment was just okay. There were not too many great options of movies and for the old plane, the screens were really bad.
Pros: Everything, from boarding to departure, the service is excellent! The staff was attentive and very welcoming. Spending a few hours reminded me why I fell in love with SK in the first place.
Cons: Food selection was ehhh. Selection and quality of food flying into SK was a lot better.
Pros: Koreans are naturally respectful, making for a very pleasant flight
Pros: Everything! The employees are curteous. The entire flight is inclusive. You are able to pick your seats without any extra expense.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
Pros: Food and beverage service
Cons: 45 minutes delayed when departing
Pros: Good service
Cons: Old plane, walking distance to board the plane is so far
Cons: Meal was terrible
Pros: Quick flight
Cons: Food was terrible
Cons: The food selection. Pre-Packaged and snack from Bangkok in business class is a bad idea
Pros: The made it easy to travel with a young child
Pros: Good service
Cons: My flight from LA was delayed so my checked bag did not get transferred in time to come through with me from Taipei to Bangkok.
Pros: Plenty of leg room
Pros: I liked that everything was fast and easy with no issues
Pros: At least no gate change or delay..shock shock
Cons: Checkin as usual was understaff and slow....agent refused to enter our getgo numbers or change our seat assgnment as had been done in the past. Refused to orint boarding pass because i had on my phone....i dislike this and want paper backup! Speaker system for gate announcements at term 3 is the worst! Boarding is always bad but now a new system to read tickets is worse than ever! My knees touch the seat in front it is so crammed...at least short one hour of discomfort.
Pros: Boarding was quick and flight was on time.
Cons: No in flight entertainment, but you get what you pay for.
Pros: Nothing much. The flight crew were ok.
Cons: Flight was delayed 90 minutes. Boarding and departure lounge area was utter chaos because the Cebu Pacific staff were not clear about which flight waa boarding. The plane was horribly cramped. Extra seat rows had been installed to get more seating on the plane. That might be ok for the average 5'4" Filipino, but at 6'1", I literally could not fit my knees behind the seat in front of me. As a result I had to twist my legs into an uncomfortable position for 2 hours. Not fun.
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Most of the Cebu Pacific flights feel like a greyhound bus
Pros: Amazing plane, latest technology, great customer service, clean bathrooms at all time. It was an experience
Cons: Nothing not to like. They went above and beyond
Pros: Amazing plane, latest technology, great customer service, clean bathrooms at all time. It was a 5 star experience, friendly hostess’s and friendly & helpful staff
Pros: Amazing plane, latest technology, great customer service, clean bathrooms at all time. It was an excellent experience The seats were so comfortable as well, and the customer service on and off the plane was amazing
Cons: aircraft a bit old and my remote control was broken, lunckily my next seat was not occupied, so I can move to next seat and the seat a bit old and decline angle so limit. if compare with business class seat of other airlines, it's a bit not up to standard.
Cons: Seat, food, service
Pros: Service, Food, timing, price
Cons: Seats were too narrow, but problem with A380 instead of Airlines.
Cons: Where are my bags ? So my bag was on the flight but it’s been 2 hours and no bag ? Talk about ruining the whole travel experience because after a 16 hour flights your bag isn’t here and no one seems to know what happened . So they have you waiting 2 hours diiddling yourself and no one has any information . Go China southern yeah ! NOT
Pros: seats are comfy fast boarding on time
Cons: not enough food
Pros: Over all the food is not good. I ordered vegetarian food and none pork, but it never proceed
Cons: The rest of the food, all asian menus; however, the cree tried their best to feed me
Pros: seats are comfy fast boarding on time
Cons: not enough food
Cons: Check-in counter at airport. Long line. Boarding was pretty bad. Otherwise -- everything else was good/excellent
Pros: comfort is alright
Cons: no entertainment not even music
Pros: Non-stop flight.
Cons: About four hours before boarding, the gate assignment was changed from a comfortable gate with plenty of seats for passengers to another gate that was already occupied by another PAL flight that has not even boarded yet. So there were no place to sit down. Food can be so much better, especially the dessert. Crew didn't come across as happy with their job. When I asked for soda water, the serving stewardess didn't tell me that she'll give it later; she just proceeded to push the food cart, so I thought she didn't hear me since she didn't acknowledge my request. The bathroom was filthy!
Pros: Flight was smooth and short.
Cons: Price is a bit higher compare to other airlines
Pros: Good selection of movies.
Cons: Late, late, PAL is always late. First we were late by two hours; then boarding was delayed by one hour after that; then we sat on the tarmac for two more hours. Literally my dad had almost finished watching his first plane movie before we were able to takeoff. Fortunately our flight wasn't cancelled, but we missed not one but TWO connecting flights because it was so late. Also, MNL is a terrible airport. What is the logic in needing to pass through THREE sets of metal detectors and x-ray machines before boarding?
Pros: Food and service always reliably good to excellent. If you're used to the North American style of "we are primarily here for your safety" service standard, then Asian airlines like EVA would be a breath of fresh air.
Cons: Boarding time always seem to slip a few minutes lately.
Pros: The in-flight entertainment options were rather sparse (compared to other airlines I've flown in the past e.g. Singapore Airlines/Qatar/Emirates). However, everything else was pretty good. The bathrooms were maintained throughout the flight and I appreciated the water bottle so I wouldn't have to keep waiting for the little trays of drinks to come around.
Pros: I enjoyed their seafood and lactó ovo meals. There are many vegetarian options i can choose.
Cons: The stewardess were not friendly and accomodating!
Cons: The delay with boarding time caused me to almost miss my connecting flight in Taipei, where my checked bag was also delayed and did not check through concurrently with me.
We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
