Really good experience with a redeye flight from SFO to BWI. Boarding was efficient, plane was comfortable and newer than others, lots of audio and video choices, and staff was great. I appreciate United's service.

Customer service - staff was effective in getting my trip rescheduled

Nothing bad to say about the actual crew or airline. It was nice to have a complimentary FULL can of soda, as well as a snack. Blankets and earbuds were also provided at no cost for this red eye flight. I especially appreciated the free WiFi and movie selection with the Bluetooth option. It helped the flight pass more quickly. No matter who you fly, boarding and disembarking are always SUCH a pain. As I mentioned, this is on the passengers and not the crew!!

The staff was so kind and very helpful. I had to use handicap wheelchair services and was so thankful for how well they treated me during my whole trip. Thank you so much. Jessie took time to explain his service and what part he played and how others was going to be available to help. The flight attendants was so helpful in helping me get to my seat. Made me want to plan my next trip with United Airlines. I usually use Delta.

I had requested wheelchair assistance prior to flight. The airport staff had no record of it. It was not provided at Cedar Rapids which was a small airport, so I managed on my own. At O'Hare airport the same thing happened. The staff told me they had no record of my request for a wheel chair. But they finally provided it after a delay when I insisted that I needed it.

Too short a flight to have service offered. A free simple snack offer (eg, biscuits), as in the old times, would have been nice.

We bought premium economy tickets first, and then paid additional upgrade fees to get business Polaris class seats on the SFO to Amsterdam segment. This was our first time flying Polaris class on United. We were completely disappointed. The service level was sub par compared with Turkish Airlines and China Airlines business class. There were multiple flight attendants attending to us, and all were not attentive and not helpful to guests. They seem to keep a safe distance and not offer to provide much service to us. We did not feel we were in business class at all. No special treatment or attention. The food service was equally disappointing. We had to make several choices for entrees since they were not sure we could get our first choice. There was no explanation of the menu offering, and they expected us to know what we want when they came and ask for food selection. All in all, very disappointed in United Polaris Business Class service. They are very far behind their European and Asian counterparts. Would not travel again with United Polaris.

The Flight was good, pilot seemed very skillful. My wheel chair sister who could barely walk was allotted the second last seat in the aircraft, with great difficulty she managed to reach on her seat, as she required attendance we were given separate seat, even on request no one cared, so much so there were single passengers who were given twin seats. May not be taken as complaint but a reminder to the checkin staff to keep in mind in future the allottment of wheel chair passengers seats.

Crew did not arrive for their shift and flight delayed for 2 1/2 hours whilst new pilots were found. The man at the boarding gate did a great job keeping us informed and the eventual flight was good. It was just the long delay waiting…….

Loading was quick and efficient. The bate and switch with discount tickets were you are forced to pay for bag.
