Pros: "Airport crew was friendly and provided umbrellas to everyone as they boarded plane. Managed brief rain-related departure delay well. Nice in flight travel magazine."

Cons: "Half hour late"
Pros: "Nope"
Cons: "Flight delayed 2hrs"

Pros: "quick check-in and no-nonsense."
Cons: "They were fine."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight was delayed."
Cons: "The delays......"
Pros: "Very little"
Cons: "Flight delayed by around over 7 hours. Only discovered this when went to check in. This has meant we are currently stuck in KL airport awaiting a morning flight having already paid for a nights accommodation in Penang. Airline has refused to take any responsibility for the situation."
Cons: "The leg room is deplorable. My knees were continuously hitting the hard seat in front of me and going sideways wasn't even an option. I've never had this happen to me before. I'm a female and 5'9 and this is the least space I've ever had on a flight. So uncomfortable I can't imagine a long flight with this airline, which is good to know because now I will not use them for flying to Malaysia from NYC. Also both flights were delayed by nearly an hour each."
Cons: "Almost impossible to request wheel chair service for elderly even if we are willing to pay for it. Any add-ons or extra services come with unreasonably hefty (and hidden) price tag. I would absolutely avoid flying AirAsia at all cost in the future."
Pros: "It's good when u pay rm50 something, but later u will have to wait!"
Cons: "Chaotic boarding, and of course, around an hour delay."
Pros: "Service ..very good"
Cons: "Flight Delay"
Cons: "Would be better if they had WIFI on Flight"
Pros: "Staff, flight, seats, etc. were all good. We will fly Air Asia more in the future."
Cons: "Nothing to complain about. Everything went as seamless as a flight can be."
Pros: "We reached our destination"
Cons: "When researching flights, I really wish AirAsia's procedures were spelled out. Having to pay for each checked bag and each kg over a relatively low allowance was extremely annoying. Even worse, each leg of the flight (due to a layover) required payment. In addition, paying for the seat, paying for peanuts and water?? Probably the worst was the air crew refusing to give a blanket to my freezing fiance without purchasing the pillow, blanket and eye mask bundle. Seriously?? Then towards the end of the flight, the crew walk the aisles holding alcohol and perfume trying to peddle their duty-free products on the plane itself. It was quite evident by this point that the competitve ticket price is a hoax, and all that they are interested in is getting as much money from you as possible. Unless I have no choice, I will never fly this airline again. Please, warn people of these practices BEFORE they purchase the tickets!!"
Pros: "Overall not bad the flight left on time and was a good flight."
Cons: "Please be forewarned, pay for your bags ahead of time if you can figure out how. We had a short flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and had not paid for our bags. It ended up costing us more for two bags than the flight for the both of us. For that reason alone I would probably not fly with them again unless it was the only option."
Pros: "On time flight. Pleasant attendants"
Cons: "It was my first time flying a LCC. OK, it is my fault for not knowing they charge much higher rate of extras for any add-ons you fail to include when you first book the flight. I get it. But why do they make it impossible to access "manage your flight" online to make necessary changes on return flight? And I got nowhere with the online chat box, s nowhere to turn.... Making such changes on Tiger Air was so much easier and intuitive. I'll never fly Air Asia if I can help it."
Cons: "Everything also must charge, the worst one is even you pay them money they still want to charge extra, seat is the smallest among all airline."
Pros: "Flights were on time."
Cons: "All food and drinks were sold at additional cost, not even small snacks or water included in the price of the flight ticket."
Cons: "I was charged $94 canadian to check one bag that weighed in at 10kg. I honestly thought the man at the desk was joking. After that he sneered at me and suggested that if I had not booked through Kayak and instead through the airline, that it would be a little cheaper. He then pushed me to hand over my credit card so he could charge me. From then on all I have to say is that the planes have no entertainment, no leg room (they are known for the insanely tight seats) and no food. Not even a drop of water was offered unless you pay on board. Interesting...I wonder what they do then with all of the money they took to accept my one bag (it was seriously 10k, I'm a small girl travelling alone there was nothing large about it). All that to say, I wish I could get some money back, I would never have paid so much to check a bag if I had the opportunity to cancel the flight all together. I'm beyond unhappy with my experience."
Pros: "Good price - efficient transportation"
Cons: "Having to scramble to find money for water. I understand that it is a very well priced airlines but when you are stuck in a plane water would be nice to be free"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "The seats are so close together one had to sit with legs spread apart and fold out tray hit your chest when opened. Staff spend more time selling AirAsia paraphanila and duty free than attending customers. No water nothing is offered for free. One flight booked had one luggage Free and the next we paid 72americian for 1 small suitcase. No info provided on luggage when booking. Sneaky way to make money. Use Firefly Airlines for a great budget airline"
Pros: "Love the staff"
Cons: "Everything was expensive"
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Bag fees not clear and totally unreasonable, no way to check in or check bags online unless you register with their nosy BIG Points. Late by 1.5 hours! Can't get ANYTHING to eat or drink without paying in local currency cash, not even water. Seats squished together and really uncomfortable. Baggage takes a long time to come out. Poor wayfinding at Kuala Lumpur Airport."
Cons: "All was good"
Pros: "In the US most recognize Southwest Airlines as an efficient low-cost carrier. AirAsia is all that with nice aircraft AND comfortable assigned seats."
Cons: "If your going to check a bag you can do it easily at the airport and you will pay per pound/kilo. If you know the approximate weight you can do it in advance on-line and save time. Example: 40 kilos /80 lbs was $40 usd."
Cons: "The seats were awful, outdated, no charging ports, tv didn't' work, air didn't work, crew were awful/rude... even checking in my bag upon arriving at the airport was an ordeal. If I can help it, I won't be flying Air Asia again!!!"
Pros: "Crew very efficient, seating comfortable compared to other Spore-KL Budget flights."
Pros: "Few flight attendant were cool"
Cons: "Free luggage"
Pros: "Flight on time"
Pros: "Todo bien"
Pros: "Because the flight is so short it is hard to evaluate. But overall it was smooth and quick."
Cons: "It was a little hard to determine which zone was boarding when you came in midway. Had to wait a while to figure if your rows were called to board or not."
Pros: "The detail of booking didn't show has paid bag fee.so confuse .And also kayak keep on asking want checking bag....."
Pros: "NOTHING!"
Cons: "We had to pay over $165 USD for luggage. On a 7hr flight we cldnt even get water w/o paying for you"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "My girlfriend and I purchased tickets on Kayak to Malaysia. The price seemed decent and we got the hours we wanted...there was no option to add baggage when I was booking the ticket so I assumed the baggage was included (like on many international flights.) When we got to the airport, our flight was over two hours delayed...We wanted to switch to another flight instead because we had a whole day planned, but they said because it was through a third-party we were not able to do that and there was no way to contact kayak directly. So we were forced to wait and when we went to go check in our luggage they tried to charge us $60 for 15 kg and $20 for every additional kilogram. They said it was too late to get the online price (which was half of that amount) My luggage was 25 kg which amounted to an additional $200 which ended up costing MORE than my round trip flight. Jetstar is the worst airline I have ever flown. I emailed kayak for a refund or some customer support after the nightmare we dealt with ON New Year’s Day and still have yet to hear back about this matter. Going back to solely booking airlines directly or through Expedia because at least you can get in touch with them when things go wrong."
Cons: "I had only one baggageto check in and was forced to pay 30 min before the boarding time."
Pros: "Direct short,on time flight"
Cons: "Service is so so,budget airline, cannot expect more"
Pros: "Glad we landed kinda safely"
Cons: "My seat was broken and uncomfortable, delays, we were late and.connections missed, had to pay for water and not the friendliest crew."
Cons: "Sneaky baggage fees. Low allowed baggage weights. Charged for in flight soda."
Pros: "The initial price tag"
Cons: "Hidden fees for assigned seat, bags weighing more than 7kg, boarding the flight from the back to front."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Outrageous baggage fees. I paid over $200 USD for 2 bags. This was so much more than the actual flight itself. I was never told how crappy Jetstar's baggage policy was and I will never fly them again. In fact, it makes me bitter with Kayak even though it doesn't necessarily reflect on you. You should never recommend this airline EVER AGAIN!!"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Long queue"
Pros: "Flight on time and help was very good"
Pros: "Didn't have food and there is no entertainment. Flight was about an hour late."
Cons: "Delay."
Cons: "The only thing I guess they keep their eyes on is how much luggage you take . Don't expect they will let you carry on more than 7 Kg. Trust me !"
Cons: "They charge for everything. Including your check in luggage."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Bad way to treat the passengers. And they charge you for a bag us$40 !!!"
Pros: "Price. Punctual."
Cons: "No frills."
Pros: "Uneventful flight, comfortable for sleeping for an early morning flight"
Cons: "Check in was busy and disorganized. Expensive luggage charge"
Pros: "Excellent for short flight, good fare price, safe flight"
Pros: "On time. Nice crew"
Cons: "Crowded seats. Not enough legroom. Paying extra for"
Cons: "I booked a flight from SG to TLV via BKK. Jet star was my first flight. the confirmation mail had one booking number that wasnt JetStar. i coulnt use online check-in."
Pros: "Pricing"
Cons: "The small size for seating"
Pros: "The flight was very comfortable. The flight attendants were very courteous and helpful."
Cons: "Late departure"
Pros: "great airline, short flight, fast boarding. overall good."
Pros: "Boarding was relatively simple, and on time."
Cons: "Even though I paid for both tickets at the same time, using the same card (the tickets were bought together) my assigned seats were NOT sitting together. When I approached the JetStar staff about this, they told me the flight was full and nothing could be done. When I asked again they told me there was no way to move my seats together for this flight. I (personally) asked other people on the flight to move, and everything ended up being OK. However this was not due to JetStar staff at all. All in all, I guess I got what I paid for: I bought a cheap flight and I got bad service. Kind of expected with a budget carrier like Jetstar ."
Pros: "The timeliness and arriving ahead of ETAs."
Cons: "None so far"
Pros: "Food choixes, terminal of Changi"
Cons: "Little legroom"
Pros: "Bad experience with JA"
Cons: "Bad service on check in, baggage and on time of boarding."
Pros: "Nice crew. On time departure and arrival."
Cons: "Too long layover Not even one free check in baggage."
Pros: "Good price"
Cons: "0 entertainment for 4 hrs. Delayed bags"
Pros: "Everything."
Pros: "Great!"
Cons: "Seat too cramp! Hahahaha Overall is still great!"
Cons: "Was reallocated a Malaysians Airline flight due to missing connection entirely due to Qantas delays. That flight was also delayed departing Singapore. Overall a horrific flight"
Pros: "no food and drink available in your flight infact water is also no provided so bad very bad experience"
Cons: "no food and drink available in your flight infact water is also no provided so bad very bad experience"
Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "everthing"
Pros: "Nice. I would definitely fly it again."
Cons: "They doubled my flight cost with one checked bag, served no complimentary food or drink, and couldn't speak English. They also didn't give me an immigration form which delayed me and caused problems at the airport. Chairs uncomfortable, overhead announcements unintelligible, no entertainment available whatsoever even if you're willing to pay, pretty bad overall."
Pros: "Fairly cheap, but there are other nearly as cheap flights."
Cons: "Nickel and diming to death. My reservation was put on hold as I did not pay for checked baggage. If you have to pay, just charge it upfront. Don't hold my booking ransom for it!"
Pros: "Cabin crew were great."
Cons: "Seat was uncomfortable. Ground crew were so so."
Cons: "Since the flight was only $48, I was really surprised when they charged me another $48 to check one 15Kg bag. Seems a bit much."
Cons: "My luggage arrived fine but the person I was flying with did not receive her luggage in Bangkok and has still not received it. This interfears with our travel plans and forces us to spend extra time and money waiting in Bangkok for her luggage to be found. Rather annoying"
Pros: "Flight attendant very courteous on getting me an exit row seat (for a price of course). Regular coach seating legroom was ridiculous. Knees touching seat in front sitting straight up. Exit row very roomy. Cheesy/tomato sandwich pretty tasty."
Cons: "In flight Mgr spoke English so rapidly that it was extremely difficult to understand her."
Cons: "Poor service, I can't believe we would be charged extra to sit in the emergency isle!"
Pros: "Quick boarding, helpful staff"
Cons: "Plane is old."
Pros: "The check-in process was very easy and simple. Ground staff very efficient."
