A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Rating low to the crew mainly because of the ground staff as they were not very communicative to begin with about the explanation for our delay. Only when the passengers got a bit more vocal about wanting explanations, they started giving us a bit more information. All estimated times given for boarding the flight were incorrect by a big margin! Seemed more like they were giving shorter wait time for boarding just to please the passengers, where as they were well aware of how long the wait would be."

I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

After we went through the security check, we brought the liquid products back to the boarding pass counter, our baggage had already been sent to downstream. But the staffs was very helpful, they provided a box, packed the liquid products for us and checked it in as the second luggage. This solved our headache and it was a huge deal for us, making us smile. Thanks to your crew/staffs again."

The line to check in had 10 people in front of me which then proceeded to take over 1.5 hours to reach the counter. then was the very last person to get on the flight - the plane then didn’t leave for another 30 minutes. Thai Smile managed to make a 1 hour flight to Vientiane turn into a 4-5 hour journey between arriving early, waiting forever in the counter check in line, then being driven to the plane and actually leaving. Bangkok Airways and Air Asia (don meaung) is the better option for this short journey."

Then they have one xray machine that all arrivals have to put their carry-ons through while the previous flight is trying to put all their heavy luggage (they are most likely all male workers coming from the Gulf). Then there is a small, rickety belt with everyone crowded around for the luggage. Well, there are two belts, but only one is functional. And to top it off, most of the luggage carts have at least one broken wheel! Amazing and embarrassing when arriving from any terminal almost anywhere! Lucknow, you have a lovely domestic terminal, wake up and build an international one! Shurum ki bat ha!"

Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.” So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long."

Cons: "On this B777-300, the large Economy Premium is not quite up to the standard of other airlines flying the same model. The tray table, stored in the arm-rest on all rows, is tiny, and opens only a few inches, not enough for pregnant women or gentlemen with some mid-section padding. I could not use it at all, and had to balance my meals on my knees. Besides, when the passenger in front reclines his/her seat, the seat invades totally the space of the passenger in the back. I felt the passenger was resting on my lap. Forget using a laptop, or even reading a book: just watch your screen, a couple inches from your nose. Good for short-sighted people only! I tried EVA and was disappointed. I'll go back to my preferred airline, Vietnam Airlines."

Another disappointment: as before, I took the bus provided by Eva to neighboring states. This night the arrangement was awful. Poorly organized Eva crew kept all on the roadside, with only three of the five buses next to us, we passengers waited in the open, without a schedule or clue. We were lucky for the night was warm. In a typical NY winter night, 10 Farenheit and windy, we‘d be hurt more."

Seats in economy (according to online comparisons) are some of the best in the industry but I felt extremely cramped and uncomfortable for the entire flight. Long haul flights should not have seats this small. Also, for health reasons, all seats should have foot rests. It shouldn't be about money, people can die from sitting like that for so long. Also, the food that I could eat was good, but there should be a no fish option. You have a lot of diet types available to choose from but none guarantee no fish. The process for requesting a special meal online was not clear and confusing."

Pros: "Flew with EVA 16 years ago to Hanoi, Vietnam and again in 2018 to Hanoi, via Taipei. Very professional, attentive, good food, little amenities that make a difference in the overall experience of traveling. Very clean bathrooms, even after a 16-1/2 hour flight to Taipei it was still clean at the end of the trip. Food was good and plentiful, wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages offered. Came around at least three times on the leg to Taipei with food and water and when I wanted more water they gladly made sure I stayed hydrated on such a long flight."
Cons: "Baggage rules on itinerary didn’t match reality. Baggage 7kg was enforced, check in bags almost empty as documents & computers weigh a lot, and cant be trusted to “check-in”. If I had know we could check in four bags free it would have made a big difference. The itinerary says one each, plus one for Premier status, which adds up to three in our case. Not a happy camper. Will avoid EVA when there are other good choices. My wife had advised against EVA to begin with, check-in confirmed her advice. Crew didn’t come by much with water or juice, but they were courteous. Seat belt sign was put on when bumpy, but not turned off for the next hour or two of smooth sailing. “I told you so” was here reaction . . . ."

Seats even in basic economy are very comfortable with adequate legroom for my 250 lbs frame. Food is good with two choices and an option to customize online prior to the flight; and drinks are offered several times during the flight with numerous choices plus hot coffee and tea. Restrooms are cleaned several times during the flight and are stocked with amenities like toothbrush and paste, blindfold for sleeping, lotions etc."

Food- They ran out of the beef dinner I wanted so they served a substitute. It tasted awful!!!! The seafood dinner on the return trip home was also awful! They need to find a vendor that can cook western dishes well. Comfort- The seat for the economy doesn't have enough leg room esp for a 16 hours flight. Crew- can be more friendly. No one is smiling or accommodating to a small request! They are very stingy in terms of offering extra water, ginger ale or juices."
Cons: "Airline seemed to be extremely stingy with the food and beverages during my 12hr + flight. Felt like I had to fight for every little bit of extra scrap of food and explain why I needed it. It was also very limited options almost everything in the menu contained pork and if you did not pre-order a meal in advanced then it was hard for you to get anything else to eat. Airline also forces you to take out your headphones from the TV set almost 20 minutes before arriving for some odd reason. And on my flight we had a two hour delay on the tarmac."
Pros: "EVA Airlines was a wonderful experience from the beginning all the way to the end. From checking in to receive boarding passes, boarding, stewardess, the food, everything was wonderful. They were always pleasant and had a smile on their face. When my trip was changed by the website (vayama) to fly back to the states, EVA Airlines went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care, placed on another flight, and made it home to get to work the next day. They didn’t have to take care of me, but the did and the professionalism is amazing! I’m very pleased with this airline and will fly with them again!"

I was holding my daughter at that point since they took away my stroller way earlier than the boarding time. I would like to ask for the same standard of parents traveling with children who are 6 or younger to board first so they can get settle and these patents are tiring from dealing with their children during the flight. They are extra tired than regular passengers."

Pros: "I took EVA flight 55 from Chicago O'Hare to Taipei Taoyuan airport. Everything went smoothly, from the check-in where the check-in and baggage staff informed me that one of my check-in bags was a little over weight and gave me a chance to repack the bag so I did not need to pay. Security lines for the red-eye flight time were not long, and once I arrived at the gate, EVA's boarding crew moved passengers along quickly. Flight attendants were very professional and courteous. Landing and baggage claim went well. No complaints at all! I would recommend this flight to anyone wanting direct service from Chicago to Taipei."

The bathroom is stocked with toothbrushes, sleep masks, and even a facial mist for when your skin gets dehydrated. Flights were very smooth and the captain is in constant communication. I was so very excited to fly on the Gudetama jet! I wish I could have taken a pillow!"

As an airline I understand you need to have rules and guidelines to function, however sending me over to open my luggage on the floor in front of 1000's of other people is just humiliating!! If that is such a strict policy you really should have a space with some kind of privacy available and set up for customers to prepare to make things meet your standards. Then he changed my seat assignment for some reason and put me in an exit row..... not explaining that there is NO SPACE AT ALL for ANY carry on bags. That means no pills nearby that I needed, or headphones, magazines, iPads etc. I was really mad when I sat down and immediately asked to be moved. Luckily someone was willing to trade. Needed more to eat on a 14 hour flight also. Was really hungry."

Cons: "This was on the flight from Taipei to Chicago: The woman next to me had an injured foot which she rested on the tray table. She should have been seated where there was an empty seat next to her as there were seats available and it would presumably have been more comfortable. It turned out the outlet for plugging in the headphones for my seat was broken so I moved to an empty seat. I would not have wanted to look at her foot (no sock on) throughout the flight plus she was constantly fidgeting and poking me with her arm Ashe adjusted her foot while I was seated next to her. Unpleasant."
Pros: "We were very pleased with the seating for our long-haul flight. Male 6'2"/230lbs and I had plenty of room to stretch out. Entertainment options were great (plenty of free TV, movies, games in the in-headrest system) as well as reasonably priced WiFi ($21.95 USD for 24 hours, which continues across multiple flights - downside is it's one login at a time, pricey if you have multi users). Food was hit or miss. Generally there was enough of it, but leaned toward Asian-style, which is not always appetizing to western palates (ex: seafood in tomato gelatin). Western options were generally available."

Pros: "Customer service was outstanding. After a debacle with Jetblue where they cancelled our originating flight, we booked another ticket through Delta to get to JFK. The Delta flight was delayed on the tarmac of JFK for 45 minutes, giving us only 15 minutes to go to the EVA terminal and check in. The terminal was nearly empty when we ran up to the counter. Luckily, the agents had not closed down yet. They attempted to check us in when they realized that the airline cancelled our ticket because our Jetblue originating flight was cancelled. The agents worked furiously to ensure we got on the flight, even communicating with the gate to let them know we were coming. They rebooked our tickets and got us on the plane. We are so appreciative of the EVA staff at JFK for saving our vacation."

Pros: "The food was among the best I have had on an airline. Finally, an airline with enough staff on board to serve everyone quickly. On that subject, the Flight Attendants were very well trained and efficient. They all looked well groomed and beautiful. I had to push the service button 2 times on our 14 hour flight and they were there within less than 15 seconds both times. Amazing! The entertainment was good but not great but it made the time pass. The departure was on time and arrival was 30 + minutes ahead of schedule which made our connecting flight very easy. I highly recommend EVA air."

Vistara had wrong information about the required pcr test I needed to transit Dubai. This cost me much stress and $40. Other than that, great experience on both airlines.
On landing, we had to wait for the bus while most of the aerobridges were empty. Bad experience

Cabin temperature was too low and uncomfortable
The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.
Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.
No Food, No beverages, only water, and there is no information about this sudden change

The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Cons: "Originating flight in Manila to Taipei to connect to our SFO flight was cancelled late in Manila due to 'technical' issues (waiting in terminal, 4 hours past scheduled departure, which meant missing our connection to SFO), and the ensuing parade through having to stay in Manila overnight (on CA's dime, plus food), then rushed back to the airport the following morning (very short notice), then to have to wait again as CA figured out how to get a previously scheduled flight into the flight plan management systems, and obviously without a proper method to coordinate this sort of thing - ultimately all of this lack of 'control' over their situation, lead to a feeling that China Airlines does not know how to contend with interruptions, or how to make their customers feel informed so that they may be more understanding. In the future - flying Eva - even though this was the first ever event of this type I have had flying China Airlines. Eva provided both meal vouchers and boxes of candy to each and every customer affected while we awaited our flights to our final destinations. CA was silent - and also very absent when we arrived in SFO and went to collect our baggage - again Eva being the party taking action and responsibility to help us get our bags, with 1 of 3 damaged by CA handlers). Bad image CA, bad image."
Cons: "The smaller jet does not have adjustable over head air controllers. If you sit toward the front by the emergency exit there is no air-conditioning and I was sweating for the entire trip. As you move toward the middle of the plane it seems to be much cooler. Also the video screen is very dark and small. I set the screen to the brightest setting and couldn't see half the movie. Furthermore, for some reason the crew left the bright lights on in the cabin for the entire 6-7hr trip, which made it difficult to sleep or watch the movies. My longer trip to NY with the larger and newer plane was MUCH better!"

So, that might fill the vacancies in business and make me a faithful passenger. The disability assistance was very good in Bangkok and Taipei. Disability assistance was horrible(wheelchair) assistance in SFO. I had NO assistance for 90 minutes to obtain a wheelchair while .d waiting to board my departure from SFO . The same was true but worse on the return to SFO. I was let off the plane LAST and the wheelchair was not there and I waited. The wheelchair person parked me outside the gate and said NOTHING and walked away. After 15 minutes waiting for his return, I went on my own and nearly passed out waiting in the horrible immigration line. It took 120 minutes from leaving the plane to getting in my car at the airport. Ridiculoius and a violation of Americans with Disabilities ACT."

Cons: "Nothing wrong with the flight. Being a frequent flier I used the very short line in LAX to get my boarding pass. All other passengers were queuing up a very, very, long line. Since every single passenger has to go through a face to face session with a physical person, CI should really have more personnel available at LAX for the check-in procedures. The business lounge, provided by Korean Airlines, is a big disappointment. Food not worth mentioning. Going through security at TPE for passengers in transit there is no short line. The only line is very, very long, although quick enough. The facility for this procedure should also be renewed."

Overall, not a good experience as I hoped it would be."

Cons: "Carry on luggage weighed 9 Kg and they told me I had to remove some things. Suitcase was standard carry-on size, fit well into the display frame. I had plenty of room in the two checked in bags but they had already been processed and moved out on the conveyer belt. Never heard of such as small allowance for carry-on luggage, at least on Delta, United and the other airlines I generally fly. My impression was that this rule was not much enforced since I saw many carry-on bags bigger than mine and judging by the effort I saw when people put them overhead, they likely were heavier than mine."

Cons: "Got to the gate and flight was booked, no seat, I was not on the list. Have trying to get refund by phone and e mail without response. Will never buy anything ever with kayak unless I get fully refunded."
Cons: "They lost my luggage and their response was "we don't generally track Our baggages. Our system doesn't do that.""
Pros: "777. Things I liked: On-board service was good. Food: OK, nothing to write home about. Onboard electrical and USB outlets nice!"
Cons: "Things I disliked: Boarding. I got my seat assignment weeks early, back of the plane and aisle, Boarding Zone 1. Check! Once at the gate, specialty groups boarded first (small children, first class). As the were boarding (LAX), the throngs lined up willy-nilly. The gate agents did not call for boarding by zones, all the passengers boarded together (mixed zones). This is a recipe for disaster. I was one of the last persons to board, and by the time I got to my seat (back of the plane), all the overhead bins were full (folks in the middle of the plane could not find overhead room, so they marched to the back and took my space). Had I boarded by zone (#1), I would have gotten to the back early. F/A's struggled greatly to get everyone's carryon stowed overhead, but a number of us had our carryons stowed many rows away from our seats. Also, the bins were so full, that they were dangerously heavy, and even the F/A's had to have help in closing them. Great! We were discouraged from opening the overheads in flight (near-constant turbulence). Great! Can't get at my stuff during the long night flight (its in a bin way in front of me, and we can't open the bins). Entertainment unit on the seatback. The system is fine, but its touch-screen, and my 'touch' screen was not accepting my inputs very well (had to touch them half a dozen times each). There is no remote control (handheld). Never watched anything, as we never were given headphones. Use your own headphone, you say? Where does that bad boy plug in, I say? That kind of thing should be explained in the pre-flight video, possibly. Blissfully I slept thru a good chunk of the flight."
Pros: "I liked the blankets, food and movie selections."
Cons: "The cabin crew seemed to give full cans of beverage to the Chinese and people from Taiwan, but only graced westerners with a cup."
Pros: "Like the staff on board. Very nice."
Cons: "Too hot! No individual air vents!! Need that on those planes. Also could have had better leg room Could have been nice to upgrade to economy plus even at the last minute Line at boarding was horrible. Very long and 2hr wait. Almost missed plane trying to get to security even after showing up 2 hrs before flight"
