The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

Pros: "The Dreamliner gave me comfort and I could relax during the flight. Seats gave adequate space, while legroom was ample. Food towards Chennai (breakfast) was stodgy - especially the omelet. Food towards Singapore was great. I had the vegetarian rice set which was hot and just enough for me. I watched 4 movies in total; the Tamil ones had subtitles. All were good. Check-in and boarding was smooth."
Cons: "One of the stewardesses on the SG-MAA flight was loud and bossy, ordering passengers to close the stow compartments doors. No need to shout. And besides, on most flight I see the crew doing it. Please be professional."

It took us 5 1/2 hours instead of 2, and many people missed their connections. We were 3 hours late to Chennai. None of the flight attendance knew what was going on either. Terrible customer service."

But India Airlines representatives in Bangalore met a group of five of us through the process of getting the next available flight; our baggage was brought along; we were treated very well. Thank you very much."
