Check the final seat assigned to you at the counter. The ground staff — I’m sure rental — did not even bother to let me know that she switched me from my paid seat to a different location.

Make sure you weigh your carry-on and personal items. It was our first time having these weighed . On our previous flights with other airlines, they didn't weigh the carry-on and personal items so we were really confused when they instructed us to weigh it and then flustered when we had to open our check-in luggage to put some items from our personal items to meet the weight requirements.

Figure out how to pre-order food and drink if you’re seated in the rear of the plane if you want to eat or drink something to start warm on such a short flight.

The check in process is pretty efficient but if you get stuck behind a family with lots of luggage, it will slow you down. It’s best to try and get there early. And even if you have to stand in line a bit before check in starts, you will be through it quickly. My last trip took me 15 minutes from check in to boarding gate. They move very quickly there.
Verified travelerFlew with EVA Air-Jan 2026
Transferring to another flight can be confusing at first. Make sure to ask the airline staff. They want to help. It’s not as simple as walk from one gate to the next. Sometimes you have to go through another transfer checkpoint.
SuzanneFlew with Vietnam Airlines-Jan 2026
Get to the airport early to save any stress even though it’s a internal domestic flight, give yourself time, especially if you’re a tourist traveller and you don’t speak the language here give yourself time.

Krabi is a small but very efficient airport. Check in kiosks are readily available. Bag drop had a line but it moved quickly
JackFlew with Cebgo-Feb 2026
Allow plenty of time to get to the terminal. Then add some extra time! Check in, security and boarding were all fairly efficient.
JackFlew with Philippine Airlines-Feb 2026
MNL can be a bit daunting. Allow plenty of time to get there and to go through the ticketing and security steps. Changing terminals might best be done by hiring a Grab (aka Lyft). ... DGT is small. Steps to board and de-board the plane. The cheapest transportation into town is via the tricycles *outside* the airport, on the main road. USD $4 vs $25-90 for a taxi from the terminal entrance.
SyafiqahFlew with Singapore Airlines-Dec 2025
Take Scoot or SQ if flying to Bali. KLM tends to be full flight and their seats are narrow. their layout is 3-4-3 whilst SQ is 3-3-3. Opt for comfort always, coming from a person who goes to Bali

When arriving to Taipei, make sure to following the passing card side for connecting flights. We got in the red lanes and had to get our bags checked again. Go green side far right, it’s not very clear then you go to the next stop for transfer check.

MariaFlew with Asiana Airlines-Dec 2024
If you're flying into Ho Chi Minh with a different airline, make sure you have printed tickets because security does not accept mobile tickets (only printed) and hopefully other airlines are better than Asiana otherwise, plan to spend several hours in the transfer area with nothing available other than bathrooms.
MIAFlew with Batik Air-Feb 2025
I wouldn’t recommend Batik Air based on my experience. If you’re flying from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru, I suggest choosing another airline for better service and reliability. Also, always arrive at the gate early, as some airlines might refuse boarding even when there’s still time before departure.

Be there early LONG LINES. If you want to experience the JEWEL At Singapore make sure u have a 6hr min layover. I suggest you get a locker for luggage. You do have to leave the airport and go thru immigration on your way out and back in. The lines are long.
Verified travelerFlew with Hawaiian Airlines-Sept 2024
I will not fly to ICN and transfer to Hawaiian again. Both Asiana and KAL are good flights to ICN. And their lounges are both good. But if flying onward, stay with Asiana or KAL connections. ICN doesn’t do terminal connections well.
Verified travelerFlew with Cathay Pacific-Nov 2024
Cathay's Bangkok in-person check-in was easy. Hong Kong was a good connecting-flight airport (though you need to dump all liquids between connecting flights as you need to go through a security checkpoint).
KevinFlew with Cebu Pacific-Sept 2024
Bring charging cord as the have ports on the plane. You have to buy water, so get it in the airport, as 3 bottles is the same price as 1 warm bottle on the plane.
AndrewFlew with Firefly-Oct 2024
Short hop, so no need to prepare too much. They provide water, some snacks on board the flight. Not much space for on board baggage, so bring as little as you need on board.

Thai air send to be the only direct flight from Lahore to Bangkok so it's worth paying a little more in my mind. When entering Lahore for the first time it can be overwhelming leaving the airport so be prepared and try to have someone you know meet you as people tend to try and cheat tourists anyway they can on arrival.

Don't fly to Tokyo, Faster to fly to South Korea. The flight from Bangkok to Tokyo is 6 1/2 hours, and from Bangkok to South Korea is only 5. Or you can go 4 1/2 hours Thaypay. Always take a night trip, at least you can probably get some sleep on the airplane, hopefully.
TananyaFlew with Malaysia Airlines-Jul 2024
Malaysian Airlines is a good option. They don't have a screen but you can connect to onboard wifi and watch onboard entertainment, movies, and music on your smartphone or tablet. Bring your headphones. Some people didn't put on headphones and disturbed others with the sound from their phones.

JAL’s Carry-on baggage allowance (10kg) at Ho Chi Minh city airport ((TIA) can be confusing. For codeshare flights, partner airline regulations apply (e.g. American Airline only limit on by size - not weight).

Leaving Vietnam through customs was longer than we thought based on how short the line was, so give yourself plenty of time. Once on the ground in Cambodia, use the Grab app to book a ride from the airport to Siem Reap. A tuk tuk is cheaper but after more than an hour on that hard seat you’ll wish you’d splurged.

Do not take a budget airline next time. If there is no choice but Cebu Pacific, then don't pay for checked bags. Just bring a huge backpack, a carry-on suitcase, and one big handbag (personal item) up to 10 kilos each. Cebu Pacific does not care about these things anyway.

Going through Denpasar airport was quite intuitive for me which I appreciated. Landing in Taipei with a connecting flight to the US I was required to go through security again so, take that into account when planning layovers. I had a short layover and my flight into Taipei was late so it was a little worrisome if i would make my connecting flight.

Airports are separate. Theres a free airport bus that can transfer you to the other terminal but the luggage itself you have to bring with you, it doesnt get transferred directly. Download the GRAB app (its like UBER) if you decide to take another form of transportation. Regular taxis will charge you ridiculous amount if youre not careful. GRAB is better.

Arrival card in Malaysia. Expect long queue in immigration
Verified travelerFlew with SriLankan Airlines-Jan 2024
Arrive early, because Immigration control in Kuala Lumpur is a nightmare. When we entered the country we had to queue up for over one and a half hours just to go through immigration, the same was true when leaving. Also some of the immigration officers were incredibly rude and antagonistic. Malaysia has introduced an e-gate system for immigration, mainly for Malaysian citizens, however certain other nationalities such as Australian citizens can supposedly use this e-gate. Unfortunately it didn’t work of Australian citizens and nobody seemed to know how the system worked or were particularly interested in fixing it. The result was that we had to wait in line again for over an hour.
MikeFlew with China Eastern-Feb 2024
Watch the baggage allowance closely. PVG - BKK allowed 30 kg but BKK - PVG only allowed 20 kg using same size plane. Very sneaky way for the airlines to get you to pay for overweight baggage. I will not do this again!

I wish there was a little more leg room between the seats. The recline was good and seats overall were comfortable. I also didn’t like the 2-4-2 configuration.

The flight arrived on time. 2×2 seating meant no one needed to sit in the middle. This was a connectibf flight from Singapore and required going to 3 counters in different levels to check a golf bag

I have difficulties to book wheelchair for my parents returned flight

Very good flight from Boarding to landing -efficient and comfortable with decent entertainment options

It was an average flight. I would have expected more from this airline. Food, seats, service, etc was just average. I just give them some extra points for offering free WiFi on board with just a Krisflyer account.

Could not really fault anything. We had a really short time between flights (about 45 mins), and had to get across the other side of the terminal. But we made it and crew were helpful. Food was good and service for the kids was great.

Awesome! Was impressed with the hospitality and the thoughtful services. The cabin attendants were superb.

When boarding, after business class should be premium economy, but economy class already lined-up at the gate blocking premium economy to board. Singapore airline crew should done a better job to organize this chaos :( Thank you.

The male traveller seated in the row in front diagonally opposite my husbands seat across the aisle as soon as the seatbelt sign went off moved across the aisle into the seat in front of my husband for the entire journey from London to Singapore he had his seat reclined and pushed back and the seat touching my husbands knees for the entire journey from London to Singapore. very uncomfortable for my husband.

The flight was close to on time. My suitcase was not loaded in Bangkok and was delivered 24 hours later.

Flight went very well. Cabin crew were all courteous and very helpful, always with smiles on their faces. Food was great. I always love heated nuts with wine. Flying business class with Philippine Airlines is always a pleasant experience.

The check in staff were fantastic. So so helpful and nice.

A shameful national carrier. Service has gone down from the highs of a decade before. You don’t feel the Filipino hospitality. It’s an aging fleet. Nil comfort, and I flew premium economy.

Boarding and flying on time is the most important need of passengers they did that

Theairline, both at the terminal and during the entirety of the flight were kept at uncomfortably cold temps. Maybe between 55 and 60 f. Those who had traveled with the airline before donned puffer jackets, wool hats and pulled blankets from their carry-on bags. The seat back entertainment also failed on my trip, leaving me for 12 hrs. With nothing. Seats offered enough room (barely) for a 6'1" frame, but it was pretty tight But the worst offender was the uncomfortable temp..

Overall it’s very acceptable I will gave an A.

Worst airline. They had 3 security checks just to get onboard and no notification prior. Had to throw away any liquid bought at duty free because one of the security checks was prior to boarding the plane. My onboard media console was not working, the flight attendant said they will check on it but did nothing. Pretended we did not ask for it to be rectified for a 17hr plane ride. Horrible experience. My first and last time taking Philippines Airlines.

My biggest concern was with all the schedule changes. Both inbound and outbound flights times were changed, including a time change less than two days before the scheduled departure.

The flight itself was good, however, the disorganization of boarding and the sheer amount of baggage STUFFED into the over head compartments in what appear to be an outdated plane was not okay. The plane was outdated. I walked into the restroom and a panel underneath the sink was on the floor. I called the attention of the stewardess and she quickly put it back into place. The entertainment system had to be rebooted in order to “work,” but even after rebooting, the sound was off. For the amount of money my wife and I paid, we expected a little bit more. Sad to say, but Phillippines Airlines missed the mark on many things going all the way to sectioning off such a small area for all the passengers to wait for boarding. Everyone was on top of each other. They also made you throw away your water, even after the initial security check. So the water you bought after the first security check wasn’t allowed onto the plane, but they didn’t offer a refill station or another place to buy water. Will definitely need to think again about booking with Philippine Airlines.

Need to upgrade the lavatory it was very filthy and disgusting. Very poor hygiene.

Automated check in could have been better organised and informative

Flight was delayed from 8pm to near midnight. They made us board then sit in the cabin and wait for even longer for take-off. No compensation whatsoever - not even in a free drink or meal

We were told that flight was delayed by 20 mins, but it left close to an hour late. But they did make it up and arrived early; it's just very difficult to keep waiting when it's a late flight. Food was mediocre.

The flight has been delayed for nearly an hour, yet neither the captain nor the chief steward made an effort to explain the reason for the delay or offer any apologies to the passengers.

Instead of landing we had to go around and landed in Kuala Lumpur International Airport instead of Subang. Then we had to restart and arrived over 2.5 hrs late

Boarding was nuts. Gate change. Delayed. No communication from gate staff. They seemed lost. Rest of the flight went well

The flight delay... but bus from the airport be on time

Great. Very satisfied with a direct flight from Penang back to HK international. Stewards in the cabin were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to fly with Air Asia in the future.

By the time the “sell “ cart came around to row 17 they were out of several items. This happened both leaving and arriving in Kuala Lumpur. Poor planning.

The flight itself was fine but we were a bit late on our flight.

They denied my meal which was included in ticket and also damaged my bag completely and broke the wheel and still not accepting their fault

IndiGo is low cost and therefore no frills, but is always a pleasant experience. No mood lighting and fancy features but clean aircraft, professional crew and absolute value for money.

Some seats don’t recline. No USB port or power outlet, no inflight WIFI - not even for SMS/Messaging apps. Ontime performance was very good. They should have at least one crew member who speaks the local language, for flights like these.

Crew was horrible. No greetings. Did not ask for any food. The crew seemed like they were forced on the flight against the wishes. Should be de-roastered.

As usual invariably delayed Lots of time in getting chkd in baggage

Two times the gate was changed and flight got delayed

INDIGO Never On Time & Always Prefer to Shuttle Passengers Like shuttle Corks

There was inordinate delay without any plausible reason. This has become a normal feature of Indigo now a days.

Try to Fly on time without keeping commercial passengers stranded

V difficult to book ticket through on line.finally I was not able to book maa to Ahmedabad ticket on last Thursday.it is abig struggle.

3 hours delay ,we changed plane after boarding and waiting inside

Food & lower the prices. Look at Air Asia food look better & affordable

Not a frequent user of their website booking. Booked my check-in baggage and only realized that I did not book my check in baggage for return flight. The receipt was not clear in identifying that as well. Was charged exorbitantly at check in counter. Bad taste for sure when it is a business trip and not leisure trip. Baggage was delayed for more than an hour at belt back in SG.

WiFi didn’t work on both sectors so made killing time harder - planes clean modern and good flight crew - would do again if WiFi works

We had 2 attempts to land at Singapore Changing during a thunderstorm. Everything was delayed by 1 hour plus.

We flew on the 787 Dreamliner direct to main gate at KLIA2, quick entry via eGate and on the train 41mins after touchdown. Go well SCOOT

Not clear why boarding passes could only be issued at the counter and not through the kiosk. I had already check-in on the web, so waiting to obtain a boarding pass 1.5 hours before the actual flight defeats the purpose of early web check-in.

Me and my Partner were in seats 6A and 6B. (Which we paid a premium for). Unfortunately the person is seat 6C was large and because of his size my Partner was squashed to the point of discomfort and unable to sit properly. We requested to be moved to some empty seats and two hours into the flight the crew moved us. Perhaps it’s time airlines began checking passenger sizes to ensure they don’t encroach into fellow passengers seating space!

U could offer everyone a drink ,juice or water.. coffe or tea ...ur air craft isn't a flea market ,where someone has to buy a tea or water!!

Extra luggage after you purchase 1 is gonna jacked u up to 800sgd which is so up to the hook... you could buy 3 round trips ticket on that price.. im so disappointed.. im not gonna choose this airline anymore.. horrible experience...
