Pros: Helpful friendly crew, good menu choice and informative of where we were flying over (to settle an argument!
Cons: Cold drinks not so cold...
Pros: The crew was polite and continuously offering drinks, headphones and food/snacks. Kept us all comfortable and happy!
Pros: The crew was diligent and hard working. The seat was comfortable.
Cons: I could eat none of the food because of my diabetic situation. Kiwi.com did not inform me of the services that would be available for the flight. Nor did it advise that I would need to make my dietary needs known. Nor did it give me the opportunity to communicate with the airline about those needs.
Pros: We upgraded to premium economy and the extra space was worth every penny. Being 6,4”, there’s nothing worse than being stuffed into a sardine box for 8 hours. Food was very good and the flight was good.
Cons: When we boarded late, there was little to no communication about why. Pilots and staff were at the gate and we all just sat there not knowing what was going on as our boarding time came and went.
Pros: the food was great for a short haul flight.
Cons: the boarding process was chaotic and did not even use the most basic of logic. the extra legroom seats are narrow so while you have leg room you have to wedge yourself in. The crew are interested in flogging scratchcards and duty free.
Pros: The pilot kept us undated as to where we were etc
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Better and more accommodating customer service. Flight ‘left early’ and we missed the flight due to a slight delay in our initial flight (we had a layover in Manchester). Customer service was not helpful and even though we arrived at check in with enough time, they did not let us board the flight.
Delay
Cons: 1h hour delay
It really feels like a budget airline
Cons: Old plane. Very much below average entertainment. Basic things like coffee or soda for sale on 10 hour flight. Uncomfortable worn seats. Poor choices of food.
Would fly Condor/ Thomas Cook again
Pros: Staff was courteous and helpful. Considering how crazy busy the Manchester UK airport was in August all went smoothly, boarding was efficient. Seats were okay but not too roomy for a larger person.
Cons: The (only) tiny movie screen was at the front of the cabin and. impossible to see for most passengers.
Cons: Nightmare no entertainment available
Pros: Flight
Pros: Price
Cons: Service
Cons: The crow was useless I asked water 3 or 4 time no way to have it Entraînement no choice just if you pay , Low costs? Too much. !,
WHAT FLIGHT?
Cons: The flight to Manchester was canceled and I was not even informed until I got to the airport and was told I had no flight and I should rebook my flight with another airline. So my flight back to the USA NEVER happened because I refused to flight with Thomas Cook.
Flight was cancelled and the way it was handled was very unprofessiona
Cons: The way Thomas cook handled it.
Cons: Didn't like having to climb stairs into plane with two hip replacements and luggage, and no assistance. The seats are tiny (and I'm a small person). The food was mediocre, passengers took their own food on board. The entertainment was pitiful for such a long flight. Very disappointed and probably will avoid Thomas Cook for future trips. Plus, It was very cold with constant cold air blowing on me; they provided no blankets, even though I requested one.
Pros: The crew was excellent and the flight itself very comfortable
Cons: The entertainment did not work but sporadically.
Vegetarian meals
Pros: Even tough I forgot to request vegetarian meal they had extra ones available
Cons: There where no blankets and it was freezing cold
Pleasant suprise
Pros: The overhead cabin was really spacious. The leg room was impressive. The meals were enjoyable & served hot. The cabin temperature was nice. A bottle of water on the seat for both journey’s was a nice touch.
Cons: Leaving late on outward & inward bound journey’s. Checking in on line was disappointing as no baggage drop off, but enabled us to sit together. Boarding passengers in seating row numbers , when we all actually just got a bus to the plane as another airlne had the air bridge. In flight entertainment was ok, premium not worth £5.
Pros: Staff, ticket price
Cons: 6kg bags policy
Vegetarian friendly
Pros: I was exited to see that they did count with vegetarian food
We were over an hour delayed due to a problem with the plane.
Pros: The on flight crew were helpful and considerate.
Cons: Information on delay at the gate was poor until the captain came out to speak to us. The delay. We arrived at Gatwick at 12:45 in the morning. Fortunately we made the 1:20 am train to London otherwise the whole travel experience would have been very poor. We had a crying/howling toddler in the seat row in front of us. I know there isn't much you can do about this but it obviously has a huge impact on the comfort of your flight.
Pros: extra kind crew on board
Cons: stopover on Gran Canaria due to refuel - it cost me extra 30 GBP because of delay in Manchester
Cons: Checking in was ridiculous, I got to the airport 3hrs early and was queuing the entire time until the plane left. It had to be delayed because of how long it took everyone to get to the plane. Absolutely apalling!
Cons: Dont be like Ryanair, dont try to catch me up.. I would recommend you a free water or tea.. I really dont want to pay 2EUR for 0,5l of water in plastic bag..
Good but with some issues
Pros: I liked that the plane has all economy seats so even the "poor" people can sit in the front of the plane. I liked the courtesy and pleasantness of the crew. Good entertainment system at the seat but I would like more options for free. (Only 6 movies and TV shows are free. You need to pay 5 pounds to be able to watch all the rest)
Cons: I did not like the terrible airport in Manchester. It looks like a war-time Eastern European airport. No computerized check-in kiosks, you have to queue to check-in. Then you go down some stairs to get to the security level which is a huge mess in a small room that looks like a gym. At the gate, the gate crew called upon "those passengers seated in rows 1 through 8 to board" but somehow everyone was granted entry to the aircraft! I was in row 6 and got on one of the last. I said to the gate lady when I finally boarded "wow that is quite a lot of people seated in those 8 rows!" She just shrugged and looked overwhelmed. Also there is no kosher food option as I found out from a Jewish passenger seated next to me. They just offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and diabetic as special meal options. Finally, the entertainment system is nice but only offers a limited number of options for free. For 5 pounds you can access all the other films and TV shows. Also the airport in Manchester had a runway construction or something so we took off one hour late and I missed my shuttle in New York.
flight delayed for two days
Cons: poor customer service. no assistance,
Pros: The crew was very nice.
Cons: The seats where VERY uncomfurtable
Pros: Everything was normal and good
Cons: The FOOD.
