Their system went down but they failed to alert customers of delays. 2.5 hours of standing in line to check bags.
Spirit it is not a good company. They don’t have any idea what it means costumer services
On time
They over charge on bags even when you pay online. I will never fly with Spirit again!
Flight was cancelled with zero information given. No overhead page. The flight just disappeared off of the status board. I didn’t receive an email that the flight was cancelled until 2 hours after we were supposed to take off.
I like that the flight was on time. Enforcing the mask mandate could have been enforced better. The flight attendant should not have to beg passengers to keep their mask on their faces. I saw the flight attendant pleading with a passenger multiple times to put their make on their face. The passengers who violates the policy repeatedly should have have been detained upon. arrival and received a penalty for their repeated violation of the mandate. Otherwise it becomes a joke!
Low cost flight. The plane had all the passengers waiting on the tarmac for over 2 hours! The offered no food or drink to compensate for the delay. Also, the pilot did not give enough updates on the delay leaving many of the passengers wondering what was going on and when they were actually going to be able to get off the plane.
The flight price was really low. The seats were not that comfortable.
The weather could have been better but spirit handled it like a champ!!!
My flight was supposed to leave at around 8pm and was delayed until around midnight 2 nights in a row and finally cancelled… the third evening it was delayed until around 10:30 and we finally were able to fly out. The single worst flying experience I’ve ever had. They did refund me for my flight but this was the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I will NEVER fly Spirit Airlines again!
Took over 1hr to get off the tarmac late at night doesn’t make any sense. Never dealt with this for this long before on any plane. Terrible coordination. Don’t understand why we can’t use another gate
Spirit needs better seats
No space m, one of the passengers or crew stole my glasses that fell during the flight, I asked the gate attendant to please go in and get them as soon as I got off , she didn’t go in for 10 mins giving some time for these 300$ glasses to go missing. I won’t fly spirit again unless I can help it.
Terrible way of bag checking in. 40lb bag limit is a bad business model for travelers when 50 was from another carrier. 2 lines to pay for excess weight. Long line to pay for it. No guidance from staff as to direct ppl in different loading zones to not block the lanes when boarding.
No option for not ordering any food, seat were a little in comfortable, over all flight was quick and on time, even on my flight out the plane was an hr late arriving but it hardly affected my fight at all B+
We were waiting to get to the gate for over an hour
I didn't travel
Flight got there early sat in the plane for 45 min Gate was not ready 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Had to wait another 45 min to get checked bags
The wait was really long for the baggage to come off the plane. It was about 40 min after we exited the plane until we got our luggage.
This flight was not full so we were able to get some space. I slept well enough through most of the flight. I used my iPad to watch Netflix I downloaded. All in all, I wouldn’t complain about the flight. It went well.
Spirit cancel my flight and I’m fighting with them to refund me.
Spirit cancel my flight and won’t refund me
Baggage check and Boarding was easy. Seats reminded me of the old Yugo car with not enough room. Attendants didn’t seem to want to be there. Lights were never turned off on this red eye flight. To be fair, management has been making some very poor decisions lately and moral is low.
This was my first flight on Spirit Airlines and I was a little leary and had low expectations. . . however, I was pleasantly surprised! The crew was very pleasant and cheerful! Seats were perfect and we took off on time and landed 15 mins early!! It was a fairly short flight <2. There was no entertainment and snacks were available for purchase! The price for the flight was great, it exceeded my expectations and I will definitely fly SA again!!
For the price is perfect
I had a problem signing and I called Spirit and the customer service misleaded me to purchase the bags by phone. She said that by phone they have the best prices. I paid $60 for each bag, and online you pay around $40. They don't want to give me the money back. The worst customer service
All
Flight was canceled a week prior
Flight was delayed an hour. Took 3 hours to get to Orlando when it only takes 2. Crowded and noisy. Had to pay $60 for a carryon?!?! And also had to pay for food and drinks on the plane (even water?). One of the worst flights I’ve taken recently. Will not fly Spirit again.
The boarding was very efficient and in general I felt the whole process very fast. 3 out of my 4 flights were cancelled or delayed 😕
On board Spirit Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x46x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Spirit Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.

Unmistakable with any other carrier, the Spirit fleet is painted in a bold yellow design that has been labelled the taxi livery. Check underneath the pilot window to see if the plane you’re traveling on has a name. Some examples include Spirit of the Americas and Spirit of Orlando.
