I told them that ld only rented a car once in my life, I'm 74, my family and friends don't rent cars. My car broke down and I needed transportation. I'd rented a car from a online service, maybe yours, from Fox rental car company for two days and they changed me $29.99 per day for insurance when I had my own and so did Economy which add up to over $500.00 that I didn't know that I didn't have to pay and none of the people helped. After I went back to the rental car companies and they said that after I returned the car there was nothing they could do. What the entire car booking and car rental companies can and should do is created information banners on all of the websites with simple information on how to navigate a car rental. But I understand why there isn't that banner. Dishonest, disceetful, amoral people wouldn't want one.

When I selected it had unlimited mileage but when I got there the dude put 400km for two days and when I asked him later about it he claimed that he already told me local rentals aren’t unlimited. I didn’t bother making a fuss that he didn’t. But it crazy that he tried to gaslight me. Wouldn’t not recommend this place unless you know one of the managers there and are helping you directly

The car was pretty stained up between all the seats. I was required to pay additional collusion coverage even after I explained that I had purchased the one kayak offered. Still, I was made to purchase the basic coverage. That should be explicitly stated. Other car rentals I've used have not added any additional coverage as required.

All was good. Was served quickly. The car they gave me was pretty good. The only reason I would give 4 star is because they didn't give me a car with a full tank. I don't like getting a half tank car, and then having to try and fill it to that level. I ended up returning full, so hopefully the next guests keep it at that.

This location is not in the PHX airport car rental location. When I discovered this, I asked if their location was staffed by a human, since their web-based tool to pre-check in was a terrible tool. They said it was staffed. Once I got there, the human had nothing to do with the car rental business - they were a parking lot attendant. This business also asked for proof of car insurance. I have never been asked for that and that is not always carried on a person and a person doesn't always have their insurance login to retrieve it. Further, the AI assistant or "text human" was not helpful to resolve these issues, lied about the staffing of the check-in location and was terrible to deal with. I'm surprised kayak would even put this company on your platform. This experience will drive me towards booking directly with a car rental company - I can't trust your platform to vet your vendors for a reasonable customer experience.

Surprised with a after hours charge as I was returning the car after they closed which was at no time listed or advised when I was booking the car.

We booked a rental car and received confirmation email. We showed up at the counter and no one was there. It took an hour for economy to track down the person to come to the booth, who then informed us there was no cars available despite us booking a reservation. We had to get a car with another company for four times what you quoted us and I would like compensation for the inconvenience and failure to deliver.

Got scammed into being forced to use their liability insurance even though I had my own, which triples the booking price. Technically against California law, but they know no one will pursue it. They know you’ll have to take a shuttle elsewhere and spend hours rebooking a car, and they just won’t give you the car unless you pay for it.

Worst rental car experience I’ve ever had. They should be taken off of kayak. Car was a mess. People were rude. Nothing positive about the experience. Tried to force me into using their insurance even though I have insurance. Do not rent from here.
