My experience with the staff and customer service was great. The vehicle was a bit dirty although I know they rushed the cleaning to get it to me since I was picking it up at 11pm and the other truck they had for me the keys were missing. The truck itself was pretty basic. Considering the price it was rented for I assumed it would be a higher trim level. Most other rentals I’ve gotten from national or other rental providers tend to be higher trim but over all it got the job done and the ease of pick up and drop off was excellent. I never got a follow up email as to the close out or credit though as the vehicle was returned 2 days early.

Great customer service. We had several delays, and I was always able to talk to a person to make us feel confident that everything was still in place and ready for our family. We had a nearly brand new vehicle. Our contract was a long contract so it had to be split up. The second contract changed the price to be more than we had booked it for, but after contacting National and explaining, after minimal emails they corrected the price to match what we booked it for. It was a great experience!

Wanted ford focus but got citreon c3. Had a square steering wheel that I didn’t like and the speed warning on it was rubbish so beeping a lot. It would be saying speed limit is 50 when it was motorway and 70. When I got home the street before mine is 30, the car said 60. Rubbish

Have been renting with Avis several times at MSY. Waiting 20 to 30 minutes in the heat and humidity as a Preferred member was just unacceptable. They just do not seem organized or to have enough cars. I switched to National and had a very positive experience. Went to desk to sort paperwork which took a few minutes then went outside to the cars. Picked one and was on my way. Much, much better service experience. Going forward, I’ll stay with National.
