While I book the car with your platform it's show unlimited mileage but when I pick up the car, Midway staff told me that for LA residence there are only 150 mile/day not unlimited as you said on your page. I ended up to paid more for mileage charge.
Everything was perfect about renting with Midway. The price was great, the location was great, the hours were great, and the car was better than expected. I will definitely rent with them again.
Reserve pickup truck Midway car rental called leas than 45 minutes for scheduled pickup to advise they did not have Truck I reserved for FRIDAY NIGHT. I told them I had a charge for insurance to be reimbursed; they said no charges happened; told them for car insurance. Contacted Kayak which instructed to contact Midway - total fiasco and still no refund. I will not being using Kayak again.
price is better than all of the major rentals. Cars is okay.
The location is off airport so we had to take 2 shuttles from LAX to pick up the car. Other than that, things went smoothly as it should. Price was more reasonable vs several other big rental companies. Staff were friendly and helpful. Be aware that your rate can change if you drop off early. I dropped off a few hours early to stand by for an earlier flight and my rate went up by $50. I thought I did them a favor by returning the car early 😅 Luckily they corrected it for me. Cars were in good condition (2025-2026 model). Customer service was very responsive and prompt. Overall good experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone looking to rent at LAX.
Staff at location was not friendly.
I was not informed that I needed a credit card. Spent Uber money to go get the car. Get to Midway. No credit card.
Two times booking with them. Good experience, very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely book with them in the future.
The rental car was clean, well-maintained, and drove smoothly. Pick up was weird. Drop-off was convenient since it was after hours. Pricing - chef's kiss!
Better lighting when pick up the car to see all car scratches and dings.
